Found this very decent deal on ebay while searching for i5 2500 sandy bridge processors. This seems like a good deal. You wont be able to overclock this processor, thats the only difference between this and i5 2500k. Use a dedicated graphic card and you don't need i5 2500k's better built in graphics. Motherboard seems decent enough too. I say its a bargain at this price. You only need an OS. What do you guys think of this.

Lets hope they use the same one, it may just be for "illustration purposes"
By the looks of the pictures, the side view of the motherboard is completly different from the top view.
The biostar mobo linked in the first reply is not the one described <-- side view of biostar mobo <-- mobo pictured in advert
Are ebay deals allowed now? Thought it was only deal of the day? Personally wouldn't touch one these with a barge pole, they'll use the cheapest components on stuff like the MOBO, Hard Drive but most importanntly the POWER SUPPLY! When it goes boom after a year the warranty that only covers labour costs will seem pointless when you have to replace several of the components!
Even if you had the 2500k, you can't overclock with this motherboard anyway.

Not that we have a clue what motherboard it it anyway! :)

From the description it looks like the backplate pic is going to be the correct one and is to sparse to be a retail board so your unlikely to find it on a website. So even if it did have a suitable chipset for overclocking I'm sure the BIOS wouldn't support it anyway.
