Been looking at this today. I'm in the market for a new computer but can't make up my mind on the best way to go. I don't like the case in this set though, it's ugly.
Would I need to get a graphics card, or can the chip cope with some games?

The P67 chipset motherboards don't have onboard graphics to my knowledge

The GPU is not on the motherboard but on processor.

It can play warcraft2, "offer smooth gameplay with decent frame rates at medium settings" see review here.

So if you want to play latest game you need to add a graphic card.

I thought the sandybridge processors had built in graphics capability. Am I getting confused about this?

Yes sandybridge processors have built in GPU

if you want to use the onboard graphics capability of the sb processors you have to get the H67 version of the board as the P67 can't access the processors onboard graphics . If you look at the outputs on a p67 board compared to an h67 board, the p67 has no video output so can't utilise the sandy bridge's built in gpu.

The p67 / -k combo is for overclocking , and if you're not bothered about getting the latest graphics card you will save money by buying the non-k version and H67 boards

Thank you. I'll give this a miss then.

P67 allows overclocking of 2500k/260k chips but doesn't support GPU

H67 does NOT support overclocking of 2500K/2600k but does support GPU

Z68 supposed to allow both at high cost

now that i look properly at this bundle, i think its rubbish!! i thought with the GPU on the CPU the budle can be use without an additional graphic card but you need to buy one.
What was scan.co.uk thinking?
