I wouldn't pay £89 for windows 10 when you could get it for fairly cheap price on eBay.

Too many cheap parts in these things for the price. Build your own and get quality parts for it and it'll save you a lot of money in the long run.

cpu speed could be better, at least in the 3Ghz range without boost

Give them a call.. they'll sort you out. We got an i5 with 960 and windows pro and built in wifi for 495 at the beginning of this year was listed at 570 with OS or wifi.

They've bumped up the prices on these a LOT, a couple of months ago you could get this with the 6GB card for £569.

I know previous deal was with1060 6gb but this doesn't impact on any game you play on it.

This is simply not true, the 3GB is a cut down version with fewer cores and half the VRAM. Lots of games these days will use more than 3GB and your FPS will slow to a crawl with this card unless you turn down the textures.

That's the one I got a month ago for £14 ;)

i didn't know the 3gb and 6gb had differing core count. are you absolutely positive that's the case? because its technically another GPU then and wouldn't usually be called the same.

seems you're right indeed. its the same GPU, but less cores. I saw performance of both cards and outside of framebuffer issues, they perform very similarly.

Nonsense, this card is perfect for 1080 gaming.
Only when you start going over 1080 do you even need more than 3GB of RAM.

How do i know this? I run an R9 380 2GB card and it runs Battlefield 1 in High without a hiccup. Can even run Ultra fine if i turn down the anti aliasing.

I was simply stating that it's untrue that there won't be an impact. There will be a difference in FPS and it could be the difference between running a game on high or medium.

I'm sure your card handles fine, and a 3GB 1060 would too, but it won't run as well as the 6GB version. It might only be apparent in some games, but it'll be there.
