It's a bargain, but the PSU is crap... I would definitely take if they can drop the PSU

I daresay gamers need more but for run-of-the-mill stuff this is a scorching deal.

Tell me why you think that, I am about to click 'buy' so I need to know!

The PSU will be the: 500W Ezcool PS-10 Silent, 80mm Fan, 24+4pin, ATX12 v2.03

But what is wrong with it, I won't be making excessive demands on it, is it going to be noisy or something?

That PSU should be fine for run of the mill stuff plus maybe a couple of year old graphics card if you wanted to add one in.

Yes as you can get the case bundled with a PSU, they've added a PSU to the setup so no need to worry about that.

Coolermaster cases can often come complete with coolermaster PSU's.

Scan have included for a Ezcool PSU as stated.

As far as I am concerned this is very cheap for what they are giving away.
#11
Note this will come as separate parts and you need to build it yourself.

You also need a CD/DVD Drive.

The individual components on the web site come to about £218 so you are saving about £22 buying this "deal".

I can't find this on the SCAN site. Does it some with an operating system?

This was yesterday's Today Only (if that makes sense), so it's gone I'm afraid, Scan's TO deals generally run from1pm for 24 hours weekdays, with Friday's deals normally running over the weekend.

Keep your eye on that page and I'd be fairly confident a similar deal will surface again within days, they tend to repeat the same things regularly.

You won't get any bundled sofware with this so you'll have to shell out for an OS/apps, etc. Plus, as stated, you will almost certainly get this in parts to assemble yourself so don;t expect it to arrive ready to switch on.

On the subject of the bundled psu, agree it is probably not suitable for running a gaming system with a mid range graphics card but would be adequate for a pc using onboard graphics for general office tasks/web surfing, etc.

It was there at 12:58pm today when I put my last append.

So when do their "today only" deals stop?

As I said, 1pm is the usual changeover time, sometimes a bit earlier, often an hour or two later. Think the confusion was because the op listed it as starting today, expiring tomorrow.

Not exactly a bad deal for those wanting a general purpose Win7 capable PC... shame it's no longer available.

The 330 case is brilliantly thought out for an entry level case... I ended up choosing it as my desktop case.

The case is just 'OK' IMHO. The usaul tinny sharp edges inside and cheap plastic fittings.

I built a PC last year using this case [came with Coolermaster's own 460watt PSU which is also 'OK'] but was rather disappointed when the power button broke.

No big deal you might think, but actually very annoying!

I since discovered that this is a common problem with them as it is basically cheap tat plastic. Had to wait about 3 weeks for a replacement when they actually sent three of them - obviously can be expected to break again in the future.

I've got this case, guess what, power button broken for me too, and the case rattles like an old washing machine!
