Intel Pentium Dual Core G850 Socket 1155 CPU £55.19 @ Novatech
My first deal. I was about to buy G840 from Amazon. 100MHz more on this one is worth a pound more. G850 seems to be £60+ anywhere else.
These Sandy Bridge Pentium CPUs are low-end CPUs, but it reviews quite well, compared to pre-Sandy-Bridge CPUs. They are essentially i3 with slower clock and no Hyper-Threading. I figure i3-2120 would be 40% faster ( even less on things which doesn't take advantage on Hyper-Threading ), but it is 60% more expensive than this ( nothing scientific, though, so don't quote me on this ).
If you need fast CPUs, then get i3, or even better i5, but for value, I think this G850 is good.
Free delivery and 4% Topcashback / 3% quidco too
Note: Novatech also has G540 for £30.98. I think that's cheaper than other places too. ( Just saw that it was posted a month ago as well )

Higher figures are better in both cases.

Use the G530, stick in an SSD and assuming you've got 4GB RAM on a 32 bit system or 8GB RAM on a 64 bit system, then it will do just about anything an average home user throws at it (not including gaming).
