I have this. Has amazingly fast read speeds for the price, but super slow write speeds, basically anyone looking for hardcore performance should look away but the average user wanting something to browse online, watch videos, draw, email, should absolutely try this.

You won't have much space after using 64bit windows 7, but if you're a downloader you could get an external drive for 40 pounds and copy files to that

I spent a long time considering buying one of these but in the end the 35MB/ sec write speeds put me of, that's slower than a conventional hard drive and less than half the speed of the 80GB/ 160GB Intel X25-M SSDs. Went for this instead - http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Solid+State+Drives/Mushkin+Callisto+deluxe+40GB+2.5%22+SATA-II+Solid+State+Hard+Drive+?productId=41779

I did masses of reading up and despite the lower speed, a lot of user reviews pointed to it being very fast. Have to say in use it is lightning quick and certainly a lot faster than my samsung F3 hard drive.

Yeah but I can't see it been faster than the Sandforce based Mushkin 40GB drive on Aria

But it dose say intel on it, so there for they charge more and yet people still bye it and its alot slower than most ssd's plus you could get a 60gb for that price or close to.

Don't bother with SSD that's under 90gb.

Silly comment. Nothing wrong with smaller SSDs. I have a 32GB one in my netbook, 64GB in laptop and 80GB in main PC. I'm about to drop a 40GB into my HTPC. Each has more than enough room to store the operating system and all my programs. The trick is to store your files and data online/ on a separate hard drive.

If I buy this can I put it in my pc and install games on and play off it?
And if it is my second drive with my main one a normal HDD will TRIM work for it?
