Oh god please do not buy these wheat products!!! We bought our son this and a few weeks later there was a huge insect infestation in his bedroom. It took us hours to realise that they were coming from a small hole inside the animal. Oh god it was horrible. You need to make you microwave it everyday to make sure the wheat does not turn into insects!!!! AGHH was a nightmare.
OMG oO That sounds disgusting. Was just about to order one until I read your post.

I had one last year, and i loved it. Lots of my friends have them and this is the first time I have heard of the insect problem! Maybe you got a dodgy one, or maybe it got damp? Either way I think mine is now destined for the dustbin and I will stick to my electric blanket!!!
I bought one of these a few months ago , and kept it stored away as it was for my daughters birthday a few weeks later . I can honestly say I have never had a problem with any insects at all , and she loves it ... even takes it on the walk to school to keep her hands extra warm through her gloves .
Wheat is a grass and therefore cannot turn into an insect!
:( thats such a shame i saw this and thought how much my son would love it but the thought of an insect festation has changed my mind.
