If you're already on three and eligible for an upgrade and want this phone, might be worth it to try your luck and push for an even better deal.

Next to buying the phone direct from Apple on their similar finance scheme - this is the best iPhone 7 deal out there for a ZERO upfront cost on a monthly payment plan. Better than anything from EE, VODAFONE, and O2 as of today.

Let's hope this is the beginning of others becoming more competitive !!

It is unfortunate that they tie to into one of their 'sim only' plans to take advantage of this promotion, especially as they only offer 4 plans to choose from, although it may be worth just getting the £6 per month one over 12 months and then not use it, would still only be effectively paying an extra £72 over the 12 months, which would still work out cheaper than Apple finance.

No idea if this is a good deal or not but voted hot as none of the down voters posted a better deal... :P

Haven't voted either way, however might be worth checking if your employer is signed up to http://www.phonescheme.co.uk as could potentially make a significant saving (depending on salary).

James, thanks, already asked, we have a employee incentive program with Vodafone. This gives 15% off the monthly cost but not the upfront cost of anything advertised on their website.

Try ordering online. Apple finance is 14.9% through PayPal Credit.

What you are linking to is the iPhone upgrade program which is different, and also includes the cost of AppleCare.

The AppleCare element is optional as part of the upgrade program.

You order online and collect in store where your finance application is processed. Better to buy direct than through a network and be tied in to a sim only plan.

Seabs can you only get an upgrade on the apple plan if you INCLUDE the AppleCare plan? This bumps up the price, if so.

Absolutely, the iPhone upgrade program HAS to include the cost of AppleCare, it is not optional. The iPhone Payments program doesn't include AppleCare, but that is in store only and is available only over 20 months.

Forget the upgrade program. Lets compare like for like.

You can get 0% over 20 months and you're not linked to a sim-free contract. Order online for in store collection, give your details when collecting then walk away with your shinny new iPhone.

Going direct to Apple is therefore better than this 'deal'.

At first I thought, you're wrong! But looking carefully on the apple website it states zero percent finance is available over 20 months but doesn't include the upgrade program.

The upgrade program is fine if you want a low upfront payment, freedom to choose and are happy about effectively renting your phone, and has apple care included - not so good if after a year you'd like to own the phone and pass it on down the family line.

You don't have to upgrade. You can continue to pay the monthly payments and after 20 months the phone is yours. With this you are free to upgrade after 11 months.

Also the Applecare is optional as outlined on their website. However if you decide to hand the phone back damaged you are reasonable for the repairs rather than the Applecare fee.

This is actually 0% over 20 months. With an optional upgrade.

And you are not tied to a provider.
