words cannot describe how good this album is. Slow Hands is worth £2.99 alone. BUY!

It's good but doesn't scale the heights of "Turn On The Bright Lights" (IMHO).

"Take You On A Cruise" is one of the best tracks I've ever listened to though and the album is far more consistent than Interpol's third effort.

coming up at £6.99 for me...

A must for every 'proper' music collection.

Think Franz Ferdinand if A. The were American and B. They were any good.

They're not that comparable in style to label them as just an American Franz Ferdinand. I'd say Interpol are the band Editors wished they could be.

Yes very true, nothing scales Turn On The Bright Lights. That album should have an award called "If you want to make a debut album, this is how you do it"

And yes yes yes on the Interpol are what Editors wish they could be

dudes i can't believe you've brought the Interpol/editors debate to Hotukdeals

This is an argument which seems to be ongoing, I'm THE biggest interpol fan but don't slate

editors just becuase they have some similarities, I think its really good having an English band with excellent lyrics and rythem.

I could not agree more TOTBL is my favourate ever album, but the back room is also a phenominal album. If your gonna call a rip off interpol band make it White Lies. Just listen to the similarities on the percussion on "lose my life" lol

anyone on last.fm?

I certainly can't argue with that, I often think of them in the same light as Editors.

I also wouldn't restrict any band as to label them just like another.

Must point out that I love Interpol (if my user icon didn't give it away already) and really don't like FF in the slightest. I am on Last.fm (bluey18).

I can live with Editors i just felt they seemed to have gone for a more radio-friendly sound that Interpol.

I have heard White Lies and the band I first thought of was !!!, didn't make an interpol connection tho i will go back and listen to that track you mentioned now.
