Actor Morgan Freeman portrays anti-apartheid activist and former South African president Nelson Mandela in this Clint Eastwood-helmed political drama adapted from author John Carlin's book 'The Human Factor: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Changed the World'. Set just after the fall of apartheid and during Mandela's first term in office, INVICTUS explores how the political prisoner-turned-president used the 1995 Rugby World Cup -- which was hosted by South Africa -- as a means of bringing blacks and whites together after decades of violence and mistrust. Matt Damon co-stars as rugby player Francois Pienaar.

Special Features
- Matt Damon Plays Rugby: Turning a Hollywood star into a rugby player
- Invictus music trailer
- Vision Courage and Honour - Clint Eastwood and the Power of a True Story (Picture in Picture): Clint Eastwood explains in-depth what attracted him to this story and how he fought to bring it to life on film.
- Mandela Meets Morgan: Get to know Nelson Mandela as Morgan Freeman meets with him to prepare for the film

Film drags and is very boring - You will never watch it again believe me

Completely agree. Not one you'd ever watch twice
i agree, solid story but just felt like it was going to pull on heart strings or anything.
Very disappointed with this film. Had the potential to be amazing but had far to little rugby to be a rugby film and far to little politics to be a political film. Even adding both rugby and politics together it still lacked anything of substance.
Was a fiver about 2 weeks ago at Tesco Entertainment
