Voucher Terms and Conditions:

What is the promotion?
List an item during the promotional period using the auction or fixed price format. You will receive a coupon towards a future eBay purchase as long as, upon receipt of the invitation email, you list an item and this item sells. An item is defined as sold when it is paid for in full by the buyer.
Please note that the checkout process has to be completed.

Insertion, fees and final value fees apply.
Where is it running?
The promotion is valid on eBay.co.uk.
Who is eligible?
eBay.co.uk registered private sellers who have been invited to participate. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable. Sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK. Only sellers whose accounts meet the eBay minimum seller performance standards are eligible. Please sign in to My eBay and view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards.
When is the promotion available?
Please refer to your email invitation for the specific dates of the Promotional Period.
How do I receive the voucher?
As long as you list and sell a qualifying item using the auction or fixed price format during the Promotional Period, we will send you a voucher.
Maximum 1 voucher per user.
The voucher will be sent to you by email within three weeks of your sale. The voucher code, the end time of the voucher and the minimum purchase price will be included in the email along with the applicable voucher terms and conditions. The voucher has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
If you have opted out of marketing communication, you will not receive the coupon via email. Instead, it will be available in My eBay.
Restrictions & exclusions:
Business sellers can’t take part in this promotion. In addition, the following items are not eligible for this promotion:
Items re listed during the promotional period.
Items listed in the classified ad format.
Identical listings that don’t comply with our duplicate listings policy.
Any items listed that don’t comply with eBay listing, prohibited or restricted items policies.
General terms:
eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in the opinion of eBay, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.
eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay.
Any attempt by a user to manipulate this promotion will automatically lead to exclusion from the promotion. eBay reserves the right to exclude users who do not comply with the present conditions or with eBay User Agreement and/or other eBay rules and regulations.
The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Complete check out process means they must pay with PayPal. I did this offer last year and because the buyer paid cash I didn't get voucher. Ebay wouldn't budge about it.

Is there a minimum price your item must sell for? I mean what's stopping you from selling something for a penny to qualify for the £25?

Had the same problem. They refuse do budge saying it automatically all done. Allegedly can't even apply the voucher manually. Quite pathetic really

You only pay PayPal fees, if someone has paid with PayPal.
You will pay Ebay fees, once someone has won your auction or clicked 'Buy It now'.
It doesn't matter that the item is being collected.

You are possibly confusing Ebay with Gumtree (also owned by Ebay). You can list on Gumtree for free e.g. a lawnmower, which will be collected in person, rather than posted- and there are no fees involved.

Ebay gives you an international customer base for your item- depending on what it is.

I have been offered the £10 voucher, but it's not worth the hassle of selling now. Buyers are too picky, even the smallest cosmetic 'fault', real or imaginary, gives them the opportunity to get the price reduced, the specter of the dreaded negative feedback hangs over you. Postage costs are too high.

I never seem to get emails about offers but if you go the classic site and click on my eBay and then "all selling" tab and scroll to the bottom
of the page the deals are there. You will see the amount of items you can list for free every month etc. Hope this helps

how do you get invited, or know you've been accepted?

Only pay when you sell, Hhhmmmm isn't this normally the case?
Cheers ebay.

So this really isn't a deal then if the only way to get it is by invitation email. Those people that are eligible will be alerted via email.

That's a fantastic spot! Maybe you could post this somewhere on here - surely it's way more useful than posts like this one - I've never received promo emails from ebay yet a few of the offers show in the area you mention!
