Why on earth would you use this one for BOOTING OS???

I think that it is meant to be used for connecting different HDDs without opening your case.

I have something similar and its great for checking hard drives, reformating or trying to recover data
without having to put the drive in an enclosure or install in a PC.

Check the reviews though.
I have the IOMAX and am more than happy. I did buy a slot in version from Maplin that was faulty after a month, went to get a replacement and the door was broken and then decided to get the IOMAX which works flawlessly.

CRAZY PRICE!!!

You can buy these for < £9 on ebay!!! Less than £4 without power, which you dont really need, as you can just use power from internal connector from psu.

Meaning opening your PC case and messing with cables.
Bet your PC is not sitting on the floor next to your table but you have it on the top for easy access to your PSU cables.

This looks a good idea, I am always copying stuff off my collection of older drives but as mentioned they are available around £9.00 boxed with PSU inc.

I probably won't buy at this price but I will buy one for £9 because it's something I have been looking for so Heat added for bringing the product to my attention! Thanks. :)
