I hope they are, as I bought it for a Mac! Lol.

I've yet to see a HDD that wasn't compatible with a Mac though.

Well this one's fine. See the specs posted above. :-)

Just saw that the 1TB version of this is more than half as expensive as this one, yet it's 6th hottest this week.

Do these cases come apart to remove the disc without destroying the case.
