This offer has been going on for ages .. and is still an excellent price.

Not sure why the cold votes with zero comments - but there's no accounting for stupidity
#2
I quite agree, this should be hot.

Even if you were to remove the 320GB and slip it into a MacBook etc, it would be worth £45.

Heat from me dude :)
#3
It's likely cold from the army of morons here who think £/mb is the only factor - and that anything less than 1Tb won't house their pron collection :)

The same donks who vote-down NAS units because they're more expensive than USB - those donks... :)
#4
any discount codes about to get the price down could not find any

Hot from me, got a couple of the 250gb versions a while back, use one for storage took the other one out the casing and stuck it in my PS3 and put the PS3 hard drive in the casing, works a treat.
#6
That unit would look ultra-cool attached to an Apple Mac G5 I reckon.
#7
Good deal - got one of these from Comet, of all places, for £50 just after xmas. Looks and feels sturdy. Carry it around with me everywhere, with backups of all my work - invaluable. :)
#9
heat from me, although already got one myself, using it with the wii
#10
Bought one for this price a couple months back, great piece of kit... very sturdy - have drop it a couple times (from desk height) and its still works fine!

Heat added!!!
#15
Have the 250Gb version. Once dropped it about 3ft onto a tarmac drive and it bounced a couple of times. Couple of scratches but still works fine. Tough little blighter.
#16
Using with the Wii also - perfect if you set it up right.
#17
why is this just reposted every week???

this is just the price they sell it for now.

i would go for the WD at novatech, looks better and has a better HD
#18

#24
Very interested in ordering one of these, does it come with any backup software?
#25
Got mine a few weeks ago!
Good hard drive, does lose connection then pops up with the "Open Table" every few days!
Even better price as my mates works in Tesco, so 10% off :)
#26
these had all gone at tesco peterborough (hampton) yesterday. ended up with a Seagate 500gb desktop drive instead for an extra fiver.
#27
Got one a few weeks ago.

Hate the fact the drive comes with no rubber feet - it slips off the desk too easily :( in that case the WD is a better portable drive. However I prefer the metal casing of the Iomega not only in heat dissipation but also sturdiness.

Also had a 250GB one - the drive inside is a Seagate Momentus SATA which I'd imagine is the same for the 320GB. Transfer rates up there at 35+ MB/Sec

I like many others got the 250gb one a while pack from PC world. It's a great drive. It was hot then and paid the same price as this deal. Voted hot.
#30

#31
A particular bargain as it's currently £10 cheaper in Tesco than the 250gb version !!

Well said Jimlad21 !

This thread is full of people patting themselves on the back for having got a good deal and voting hot now to reinforce their own smug feeling of self-satisfaction .

I don't know how good it is but having a HD serial number gives you access to this free stuff
