Bought the older 500GB version instore from Staples from £99.99 a few weeks ago as I couldn't be bothered to wait for delivery. That showed me :cry:

Can anyone beat this for the Spec at this price? - seems Very good at amazon or comet at this price - what else should an average user want on an external hard disc or does this do it all?

Yeah, bought one of these in Comet last Friday for £99.99. I now have 1.5TB of storage. :O

Good price, but I've got mine now and it's already over half full.

Waiting for technology is pointless, unless of course you're waiting for the next Apple Mac model, when it always seems worth it. :)

theres always the jessops WD 500gb one that is firewire and usb2, got it for £110 inc next day delivery plus £2 back from quidco, not bad!
