Really great price for this item which has good reviews too, you can reserve and collect in-store, the in-store price is 49.99 reduced from 64.99 (I think). It's smaller than than the other USB drives.

And it has a really nice brushed metal finish, looks really smart.

i personally prefer the 320gb WD for the same price, i've had both drives before and whilst the wd is still going strong the iomega is now proping the pantry door open

I originally bought the 500GB WD one and it was returned as it was faulty, straight out of the box.

Regardless of which offer is the "best" it's very pleasing to see the price of these portable drives dropping across the board.

What I like about these drives is, you can clone your laptop, open them and use the drive in the laptop or keep as a backup image and the sata connector as an external interface, the latest WD drives that I have seen have a proprietory circuit board and no sata interface that means it cannot be used in a laptop. not a big deal to most people but just thought it may be helpful

Price isn't too bad, but I got given one of these by the GF, who was not needing it.

Build quality is a bit crappy, as it's aluminium with plastic ends and you can feel the drive move a shade, but it's working just fine.

I've been using one for 3 or 4 months now on a very regular basis and think it's excellent! Mine's as solid as a rock - no movement here - and....it's been dropped at least 3 times [onto carpet] but still works just fine.

I really don't know how you get the 'crappy build quality' bit ?????????????
