Good deal... but I am a little put off by Iomega now, having had my 500gb external corrupt after only 15 months use... but I think it was down to a power cut. (yes, I did have a surge protector). Heat from me all the same.

it was displaying that price on the front page for a second then when I pressed buy, it comes up as...£110.55inc vat.
Now only displays higher price too!

I just got in before they put the price up. £59.99 is an excellent deal for a 1.5tb with 5 years warranty, cheers.
#16
Anyone know if this automatically turns itself on/off with your PC?

I thought that was a very low price, maybe they just noticed. Good luck if you actually get it at that price.

Keep an eye on it as it may go back down. Ebuyer seem to have an automatic increase in price system when they see a lot of orders for the same item.

Thanks very much.

Wish I'd caught that 1.5tb @ £60!

Very noisy fan on this, sounds like an Xbox360(without disc spinning) and that's not an exaggeration. Case feels cheap and plasticky and it doesn't power off after it's been idle (mine was left over 2 hours).
Not tested it for performance, but wouldn't buy another on impressons so far.

Forgot to add, mine has a Seagate ST310005 28AS inside, according to Windows.
