Just picked one up from Tesco Home at Stains two Rivers.

£5 or so cheaper than any that I have seen around, good drive.

I think there's a Seagate 500GB portable hard drive at Currys for £42.99, not sure how they compare.

be warned, i sell these at my work and most of them came back due to the USB connection on the HDD itself being a bit flimsy.

Not voting cold as it's not exactly like-for-like, but you can get a Buffalo 500gb portable from Dabs for £41.98.
EDIT: Free delivery option appears to have been removed, so scrap that!

This is a kind of average price now for a 500gb usb 2.5 portable these days... not really a scorching bargain

I only paid 40 for my drives both from tesco when offers where available500gb seagate expansion

Alternatively you can try http://www.huddlebuy.co.uk which is currently featuring a Seagate 500gb for £30 ex. VAT. Don't know the quality difference between Iomega and Seagate...
