Been looking for a good quality branded external hard drive for a few weeks, and for those of us without a Comet within a good 20 mile drive or unable to benefit from the recent store specific deals in Currys, Sainsburys and Asda, this seems a good price on the Iomega.

1225 in stock at time of posting.

Price includes Super Saver delivery

Sadly no ebuyer free delivery or other relevant promotional codes at the moment, and no Quidco or Topcash.

This 500GB external hard drive offers the speed and reliability of USB 2.0 connectivity and uses an Energy Star compliant power adapter to keep things green. Its sturdy case is both stylish and rugged, and takes up less of your valuable desk space. And Iomega is one of the brands you've come to trust over the years. Inexpensive, easy to use, energy saving; what else could a person ask for.

Incorrect picture, makes it look like a portable one when it is actually a 3.5" Desktop external needing a power supply.

Description is good, just a misleading picture.

I dont think that really matters as most people here just want one to break open and put the drive in their Wii's X360's and all those things

THats a ridiculous statement! Why would they not just buy an internal one for a chunk of money less?

This is true, but if that is peggy in her avatar I would accept anything she says :-D

I'd like to see you fit a 3.5" drive into a 2.5" bay / slot ....

:whistling:

anyway, who let you out the kitchen? :?

I think the OP has posted the wrong pic - the one on the site is correct and it clearly states Iomega Select 500GB 3.5" USB 2.0 Hard Drive

so it's a cold deal

No, it's cold because this isn't that cheap for 500gb 3.5" drive

cheaper at Comet for example (only by 3p, but shows this isn't a hot deal)
