Reduced to clear. Free C&C.

Play and preserve your favourite records with the ION compact LP in stylish cream leatherette. There’s something great about the warm, rich sound of a classic vinyl record being played on a terrific turntable. That’s exactly what you get from the Compact LP. This high quality 3-speed turntable can play every record in your collection with precision. It connects easily to any unit with simple stereo RCA cables—no need for a separate phono pre-amp. And with its trim size of just 10.5 x 12.75in, Compact LP lives up to its name by not stealing your valuable shelf space in order to give you that great sound. Plus, it looks great with its cream leatherette finish that enhances any setting. But here’s the best part: Compact LP comes with ION’s amazing EZ Vinyl converter software, so you can transform your prized records into digital files while you play them— automatically! A USB cable is even included to connect it to your computer.

Contents include: Compact LP, USB Power Adapter, USB Cable, RCA cables, Software Download Card, 45 RPM Adapter, Quickstart Guide and Safety and Warranty Manual

It's the magical world of marketing...you can sell the gullible anything if you pitch it right. I have one but that's so I can finally play my 500+ collection of original non 180 gram vinyl...sounds okay to me but then I was brought up on it. Blu-ray was a great chance to put pure HD uncompressed audio for the audiophiles to lap up but it seems we wish to go back to the good old days!

...thank god I kept all my VHS tapes, I'll be laughing soon ;)

No different from all the hot threads about how you can make your modern powerful hardware play pixelated 80s games.

Well, apart from that generally not costing you anything. Seems that the records cost quite a bit more than buying the CD or downloading the mp3.

Absolutely...my retro SNES collection sideloaded onto my amazon Fire TV cost me precisely nothing (...except my time of course). These 'audiophile 180 gram vinyl' discs cost around £15-£20...****ing ridiculous!

...but if the crackle and hiss floats your boat then fill your boots :)

Not as much as I will with my Betamax!
