Thanks purchased.

I wonder if I could transplant my Pioneer PL12D tone arm assembly on to this deck rather than going to the trouble of re-furbishing it? :|

Yeah, one of the few "tasteful" things that survived the Seventies!
I'm really annoyed with myself.
It was working continuously from 1973 until 2004 when I wrapped it in a black bin bag and stored it in the garage of my new home...just temporarily you understand!
....til I found it again in 2014....everything "Rubber" needs scraping off and replacing, but not beyond repair! :D

Does it matter? If you're converting to digital you could just adjust the playback speed on your PC?

I had one and the audio quality was poop really dull and tinny
Was better off hooking my mixer into the audio in on the sound card.

This Record Player has better quality

^ I listened to all 10 tunes in less than 5 minutes. I dunno where they get the 18 months figure from.

At the time of my comment though there seems to be none in the entire country so it is a wild goose chase.

lol If you had seen the deal earlier they were in stock for delivery and store collection. It therefore was not a wild goose chase when they were in stock nor could it ever be described as such. They were simply out of stock when you posted.
