Hello, these are not wireless so you will need to run a cable to router to get remote viewing, some people thought these are wireless compatible.
If you want a easy option to record you can do the following...
Purchase a app called IP CAM VIEWER PRO £2.50 (the free versions do not let you record)
Use this software on a android device with a big storage or use an external storage.
Click record and away you go.

It's worth spending 11 pounds extra for wireless. I've bought one of these below (usually 100 pounds at Maplins) and it's brilliant , can't fault it

Inverclyde gets a bad rep but it's actually alright.

These are great when the remote viewing works It currently time out after 1 min CRAP support from Dlink they deny problem exists!
