Just bought Apple iPad 16GB Wifi from Comet instore for £307.55

Also 2.51% cashback through TopCashBack

Reserved online to collect instore - applied the 5% code (5300) - and also signed up to their Perks System so got another £5 off when I went instore and told them I was part of their perk.

Great price for a brand new iPad

I'm not a hater don't get me wrong, but everyone is around the same price no one really stands out. What price would you call the killer deal?

yes...we all know they have been reduced and all the prices are roughly the same

Apple earned enough money from the 1st gen ipad, they should be more generous.

That would kind of go against there pricing strategy though?
iPad 1's need to seriously come down in price before id consider giving that the iPad 2 is out now though.

apple will want to sell the ipad2,so by putting ipad1 to low and ipad2 to high, dont you think people will go for the cheap one as your only getting a vid can on pad2

Not sure about your last comment. iPad 2 has twice the CPU power, 9x graphics update, two cameras (front and back) facetime, 33% thinner 15% lighter, HDMI output, better speakers and you can have it in white all for £100 more than the retail of the 1st gen. Don't forget that vouchers and quidco might well apply to the new one too so it could be nearer £70 difference. No brainer when you look at it that way. Nothing currently needs that extra power but imagine the games it could run in a few years (presuming the iPad 3 doesn't render it obslolete within 8 months!!)

Cracking deal for me, many thanks for posting this craigmmorq4.

Used the code to get it for £312.55.

Signed up for perks and got another £5 off (cheers mate) so £307.55.

Used £199.99 voucher from an insurance settlement so £107.56.

Bought £108 of vouchers via SMS from DWP Discounts and with the 10% discount the total cost to me was £97.20.

(Although I did go mad and used the 44p change towards the Apple iPad case @ £19.99!)

Also used Quidco which is tracking at £7.81.

Sweet deal mate, heat added.

Cheers,

Bubba
