No, they mainly sell last seasons stocks of clothing and goods at heavy discounts on RRP, not returned or seconds.

Nothing second hand or used in TK Maxx some will probably be returns but in as new condition, as mentioned above it is mostly last seasons clothes or products that other companies have over stocked on so TK Maxx buy them off the companies cheap and sell them on for a profit.

Similar to what Poundland do but for higher value goods.

Beg to differ, as some of there suppliers are catolgue returns, not saying the Ipads are but there is still more chance of you winning the lottery then finding one of these.
#16
They had these in Bromley branch today at 12ish. However by the time I had look around at other stuff they had all gone so they didn't last long.

There were two member of staff supervising so they may have others and be staggering their release.

Prob worth a phone call if you are interested.

OP has already stated that they are in Castle Vale, Birmingham, that is not a lottery, one store in the UK has them, anyone that is interested is obviously welcome to ring their local.

I have seen plenty of electronics in TK Maxx that are sealed box.

No offence to the OP, but I could state I saw and xbox for a fiver in Sainsbury's but more then likely it was a miss price of a figment of my imagination. Sorry to be so negative about these things, but this has happened time and time again. No one else finds the deal or the deal was store specific, or the deal was miss read.

True, TK Max selling this product doesn't really do much for Apple
But then again, if your an Apple fan, who cares (i've got an iphone so im talking from experience!)

Obviously the deal exists now that others have already said so, so take back that comment, wonder if anyone will buy before this reachs 2000 heat. 8)

Same Price as Best Buy (without any discount)... So not as cheap as originally thought :( Castle Vale is only 10 mins away from me!

And best buy still has discount (non-guarenteed Via Quidco) at 14.89%

Good price for retail pick up tho :)

Stating their stock is second hand when it isn't, whilst I have seen some stuff in store stock damaged, which obviously you wouldn't buy, I have seen plenty of clothing and items that are brand new last seasons stock.

Recently bought a really nice leather jacket that was £160 for £60 and it really would have cost me that much elsewhere for the quality, if you dig around some of the garish designs of stuff you can find some decent bargains.

Second hand means used, at least to me, overstocking or returning of unsold items I don't personally class as "second hand", obviously you do.
#34
They had these in the Chelmer Village store in Chelmsford Today, I saw at least four.
#35
TJ Maxx in the US did exactly the same thing recently. A number of branches had up to 80 odd iPads bought at full price and sold as loss leaders to pull in the punters plus a fair amount of cheap publicity given the still high demand for these things. All of the ones bought there were brand new - no returns, open packages or refurbs.

Good luck if you find one, but purported covers for iPad v2 have already been leaked and have appeared in the press, so the price of these may dip a little in the light of that.

iPad 2 is expected to be released in March with a re-design in line with the iPhone 4. Also a front facing camera, Retina display and mini USB port.

Not being pulled into an argument, but how else do you describe second hand goods? I't's been in two peoples posession, don't include seller as that but seeing as though the return status was never given to you the buyer then yeh it's quite clearly second hand.

I never stated I would never buy from these guys, I know I would never buy second hand electronics from them, clothes differ.

Didnt quite understand your comment, as i checked best buy and it's not for home delivery. I'm unsure if you can buy via quidco for store collect or how it all works out, sorry for my misunderstanding but could you elaborate for me please :)

price of these will drop from 429 to about 350 when the iPad 2 comes along so even then you can have an iPad for a few months and sell with little or no loss! Great deal if you can find the stock which is te only problem as I have just rang 3 stores And none of them have it
