Still showing as £329 when you add to basket plus £7.99 Carriage - must be doing something wrong.

I take it you mean £329?

It's showing as £329.00 on the page, but add to basket from today only page (link above), then it shows as £299 in the basket.

Discovered my mistake -instead of clicking on the description on Today Only page just press Buy Now and comes up with £299.

Still don't see it on the 'Today Only' page. It's on the site but at £329.

EDIT: Now I see it. But the actual price is £309.58 inc Delivery and as far as I know Scan don't have any stores so it would have to be delivered. Price needs amending to £309.58. I don't see the 'free delivery bit' but maybe I'm missing that too!?!?!?

It's in the first list under 'SuperSavers'. There are two apple products there.

lol just popped into my head mate. Thank you anyway.

OP, all you had to do was mention AV Forums for free delivery. Why say 'Free delivery available, shan't repeat the details.'?

Once / if this goes sub 250 I think ill then have a dabble :p
Scan's in Bolton mate, next to the Reebok Stadium
Didn't know that zermatt. Thanks. It's certainly getting tempting!!!! :p Of course, the question then would be, what will happen to Android Tablet prices?!?!? And would the Vega be worth it as opposed to the ipad? X)

Good thing about Apple products is their high residual value, been looking on Ebay for a second hand base model, thinking id pick one up for around 230 however there still fetching 300 + used !
#20
i want that ipad2. but at the falling prices of the ipad i might have to get this instead.....

How'd you rate one over the Vega? Would you still say the Vega is more versatile due to Flash support?
#24
Gonna get hot, especially when the iPad 2 is no real improvement (It's smaller, faster and £130 more...)

How do you get free delivery with avforums guys and girls? Is there a promo box on the scan website where you enter the code? Just had a look at the loyalty program and it states that you have to have been a member for more than 14 days.

Also has 2 cameras & a gyroscope.

Still not worth it.

Apple really needed to give it the retina display.

I managed to get the 16GB 3G Wifi for £340 on eBay - it was 2 months old and literally perfect condition so I was very pleased. I was even more pleased when I went and collected it from the guy and realised it was in fact a 32GB version! Result.

Simply electronics reviews are awful apparently.

Obsolete technology. iPad6GS should be out by the US Thanksgiving holidays so better to wait a few months.

That is just what I have heard from people on here, I am not sure the site is supporting the deals from there anymore either.... could be wrong though.

Please guys do yourselves a favour and never buy from SimplyElectronics.

I bought a lens from them a while ago, and they took the payment despite insisting they were in stock, it took them almost a month to deliver it.

Every time I emailed or called (when they would bother to answer the phone), they just told me "the order is in the final stages of processing and we would like the opportunity to fulfill this order". This seems to be their standard response since I fail to see how they can take the money immediately, and almost a MONTH later only then be in the 'final stages of processing', and they'd had a month of 'opportunities to fulfill this order' but they weren't interested.

Finally got them to deliver it but I will never, ever purchase from this shambolic excuse for a store again and urge everyone else not to.
