Will Quidco will get you some money back. And a Clubcard will probably get you a year's free rac membership.

Let the Apple madness begin* ((again))

*yes I do enjoy playing apps on the wifes iphone! ..however!
#4
why is it cold?
I was never a apple fan but I'm tempted..

I have to say I was totally iPad 2 all the way then when I started reading reviews online from the states I thought there isn't that much of a difference between iPad 1 & iPad 2, the camera is the biggest difference I would notice. I know it's graphics are 9 times faster but the iPad 1 is fast as it is! Therefore I ended up getting an iPad 1 64gb 3G off amazon Market place for £400.

I was really disappointed to say the least with the ipad2 offering and didn't really wanna wait till iPad 3.
#6
Wait for a while and you might get a better price
#7
does anyone know if I can get one from tesco on the day.?
#8
If Quidco + Coupon works, it rocks!

#11
it's gonna take another year for the ipad2 to reduce price..like the ipad 1's doing right now..
it's fast, thin, light, just a 16gb wifi version will do the job for me,as I've got a galaxy S which can be use as a wifi hot spot.

How you managed to find £400 iPad 1 64GB 3G version on amazon? The cheapest I can see is £475 currently.

why this deal is still getting cold?
is it because of the deal itself or because of it's an ipad?

I think it's because these are standard prices and also over £100 more then the ipad1.

Most would say the improvements ain't worth £100 and I'd have to agree.

That's funny because apple isn't allowing for pre-orders, that's why every where is opening at 5pm so everyone has the same chance. There isn't enough of them for pre-orders.

Actually they are £30 less than the original when it was released. They only put the 1st one £100 less so they could get ready for iPad 2

Keep an eye as the prices do vary depending on the seller, guess I was just lucky at the time as I bought another one for my wife yesterday and that was £430. They are second hand but you would never know! Plus both iPads had the case thrown in for free aswell so I'm well pleased!

Do people actually queue up for these or does Jobs hand out a few quid to his "supporters" Gaddafi style for PR?

they do queue up in the USA right now, even it's out for two weeks...

frank the reason i didnt get a ipad 1 was i was going to buy a lemur jazzmutant for my recording studio but they now discontinued there hardware and software but the software has now been ported to work on ipd2 in fact theres loads of apps coming out in the next month or so that will only run on ipad2 mainly apps for music making and recording studios..

ableton live mobile/reason mobile/fruity loops mobile will only run on ipad2 and theres lots of games coming out that will also only run on ipad2.

if your only wanting to surf the net or play a few games then yeah the ipad1 is great for that but if you want a serious touchscreen controller for your recording studio then the ipad2 will be the one too own over the coming months i cant wait too get reason..abelton for my ipad2 :)

I think the means a protective film for the rear, it just stops scratches. I'll be looking for similar as the smart covers don't stop this
#39
To be honest tesco is probably the best deal taking into accound clubcard points and cashback but the reason this is cold is because of apple haters and this is posted just at the retail price it will be selling in at least 10 online/high street store chains
