Meet a stunning mobile computing experience in a very thin and lightweight Apple tablet PC. The iPad Air is powerful and efficient at the same time, thanks to its A7 chip and M7 motion coprocessor, on which the iOS 7 is running. These features, put together, make multitasking a breeze and let you spare battery power. Sporting a 9.7-inch multi-touch screen with Retina display, the Apple iPad Air delivers a 2048 x 1536-resolution, over 3.1 million pixels and enables you capture beautiful, sharp photos. The Apple iPad Air comes in four different memory capacities – 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB, letting you choose what amount of data you would like to store. Supporting Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi+4G connectivity, this Apple tablet PC makes your browsing and downloading experience very fast. Moreover, the 5 MP iSight camera on the Apple iPad Air with advanced optics improves still image and video capturing. The 1.2 MP FaceTime HD camera, featuring a backside illumination sensor, brightens up and improves your video calls overall. This Apple iPad comes in two finishes, accentuating your style - silver and space gray.

Zavvi are fine, we got an iPad 2 from them via Ebay on a similar deal. Any delivery problems Ebay and Paypal sort it out, then once you receive the iPad you can go to an Apple store if it goes wrong.

I'd rather pay the extra £10 and buy from John Lewis and £369.99. I just got mine price matched. An extra £10 which gives me a 3 year warranty instead of 1 year, yes please.

I just ordered one from JL as well. I thought the guarantee was two years? Three years guarantee was £75 extra?

This is so tempting, i'm getting a bit fed up now waiting for the new Nexus 10, have had my old Nexus 7 for 2 years now, dont want the new Nexus 7, want a bigger screen, so come on Google, get your act together and tell us if your ever going to do the Nexus 10, you must be losing sales to this new iPad Air. Dont make me desert Android for Apple ; (

Wow, do you work for Asus or Google?

As the Nexus 7 wasn't released until June 2012.

Oops !!! Well if feels like two years anyway. I am just fed up waiting for this new Nexus 10 to be released. All these offers on Ipads are tempting me to buy one

I don't understand where all this negativity toward Zavvi comes from on this website.

It's not just that, look at the Company you are supporting. buying from Tesco. I bet you can count on your hand the number of JL staff that have purposely left John Lewis to work for Tesco.

How come there are so many deals on these new iPads? Usually you get no discount on Apple products, the price is the price until a new model comes out.

I am in this EXACT same "predicament". The lack of news about a Nexus 10 2 has made me consider an ipad air. It feels wrong. I feel dirty :(

I bought one, but I think I'm going to return it. I don't really have much of a use for it other than reading pdfs on it. I was hoping there might be some IT related apps that could help me with learning but there don't seem to be any really. I got a Galaxy Note 10.1 and HP Touchpad that I don't use either but Apples products do look nice but I can't really see a reason to keep it as when at home I mainly use a desktop or laptop and I just ordered a touchscreen laptop.

#33
Thanks scav, i was hoping to pick up a 32gb for 400-420. Just cant justify spending the extra. Might go for the 32gb mini instead

I got an Air the other day from currys - £399 but they were doing £50 cashback on tablets over a certain price (which this was!) Have to wait until the 30th to claim it though.

Your comment is ridiculous and unsupported. Apple are the front-runners in technology, American medical institutions are supporting Ipads in development of gadgets that monitor health. The reason there are so many deals is because Apple want customers to buy knowing that in future they will get more revenue from apps and gadgets.
#39
Surprised how much these have dropped in price since launch. Definitely a good buy anyway, couldn't care less about the John Lewis warranty people keep raving on about as its only the Apple warranty which counts.
#40
how do u go about getting JL to price match? never done it but intending to buy an ipad air in the coming days
