iPad Air 5% off and £30 Pcworld/ Currys voucher £379.05

mattb2012mattb2012

The iPad Air is going on sale today (8AM) and Pcworld and Currys have a 5% discount code.

The code is: iTAB5
So for the basic 16GB instead of paying £399, it would be £379.05 with the £30 Pcworld and Currys voucher. The final price would be £349.05. 1% cashback on top.

I can confirm this discount code works, it saved me £28.95 off a iPad 32GB 3G+ wifi model.

32GB- £425.05 (With £30 Voucher)
64GB- £481.05 (With £50 Voucher) (Corrected price pointed out by APPLE-SAM)
128GB- £557.05 (With £50 Voucher)

4G
16GB- £444.05 (With £30 Voucher)
32GB- £500.05 (With £50 Voucher)
64GB- £576.05 (With £50 Voucher)
128GB- £652.05 (With £50 Voucher)

Thanks, about the same as Tesco with the £30 off voucher.

I think I may go with the 32GB with 4G for £550.05 and with the smart case it stills works out cheaper then buying direct from apple. £575.05 instead of £644 saving £68.95. Cashback £5.50 so the smart case would cost me around £10

Thanks. Don't you get the voucher only after you have purchased the Air and you can only redeem this after 21/11/2013? Or am I reading this wrong? Heat added.

What value do peeps put on John Lewis 2yr warranty?

Might be worth adding Currys as well in your title before someone else steals your deal and posts it for Currys.

Apple warranties for this period are around £30-£60. Although apple products I've had usually last a lot longer than 2 years, with no problems or faults.

So you'd go for the lower initial price, and then get the Applecare, or would you just not bother with the cover?

I personally have never bothered. But then I always store my iPad in a leather case, never take it outside, etc.

I have a indestructible case for my iphone. Keep in mind accidental cover on your household insurance should be a lot lot cheaper than AppleCare.
