iPad Mini with Wi-Fi 32GB for £339 with voucher code:

TDX-WRKT

Can get £10 off RRP using same voucher code for other ipads too:

http://www.tesco.com/direct/ipad-retina/

Difficult to find ipad Mini deals since prices are high for it.

For anyone who is looking for one, this one's cheapest I found. To be honest this was just a stock alert for first appearance at Tesco.

Wow these are expensive. Picked up a 32Gb Nexus 7 for £170 exactly half the price and it's a higher spec (better screen)

you will get some stick for adding a deal which is using a code but often you dont see discounts on Apple products, however, pay the extra tenner and get it from john lewis in store does and get the 2 year warranty, worth the tenner just for that and get ready for the non apple moaners :)

I've said this before:

Nexus 7 16GB
I bought this 2 weeks before 32GB was announced. I returned it cos anyone in their right mind would have done the same and gotten the 32GB for the same price. Had every intention of buying the 32GB, but during the wait the ipad mini and ipad 4 came out so made me think twice.

Galaxy Tab 2
Got this for relative but I had to set it up and running and played about with it for a couple of days before giving it to them.

iPad mini and iPad 4
Bought the mini for my nephew and iPad 4 for myself. We were going to compare and see which one's better and which one we would keep. He ended up liking the mini and I ended up keeping the iPad 4.

The mini is good for kids or for students on the move. It is so easy to hold and feels light. Your hands and arms don't get tired even after long term use like with the full ipad. Stays cool all the time too even after playing heavy 3D games.

The iPad is a monster. Very big and heavy. Heats up when playing demanding games. However, the screen is very sharp.

I didn't notice any performance differences between the two in terms of playing the actual games. There was only noticeable difference in load time for opening apps. But wasn't much.

If you want best value for money though, get the Nexus 7 32GB. But if you want quality, performance and large app base, get the ipad mini or ipad 4th gen, depending on your needs.

It's good for people who want to purchase somethign from brick and mortar store instead of online. Some people don't feel comfortable dealing with virtual stores online but prefer face to face purchases in case somethign goes wrong during the warranty period so they can walk into a store for refund or replacement. Even though this is an online order, you can return it or send it off for repair at any Tesco store if you have problems.

It's aimed at a completely different demographic.

To be honest, I posted this only cos of availability cos I had stock alert on this when I was looking for the iPad mini. Got stock alert around 6pm today. Tesco never had these in stock before.

I had already purchased one direct from Apple when it came out but gave it to my nephew. Bought myself iPad 4 instead for power.

Tesco direct are one of the worst online retailers going. Apple products can also be taken back to an apple shop if within warranty period

Showing your work Id in an apple shop gets a lot of people 6% off

I didn't know you could take the product to a store for returns or warranty issues. Thought if you order online, then you have to go through the online procedure to send it off. Apple then send someone over to collect your product.

I am aware of discounts given to certain groups for Apple products, but I've tried getting discount from Apple on iPad mini during the first 2 weeks and was always turned away. They said they can't do any kind of student discount or any other on the iPad minis. Students could get a 2% discount on iPad 4th gens though.

Why oh why do people give negative votes against a genuinely honest price deal? £10 off is £10 off regardless of wether its an inferior product to this product or that product ... And btw just for the record this is far superior to the nexus and that's why it costs a lot more..... Take lager as an example ...skol crappy lager around £2 for 4 cans .....Stella Artois premium lager ....much dearer .... But ultimately much better.....get a grip people honestly!

You clearly know nothing about lager. Stella is Flander's equivalent of Skol and the Belgians laugh at our being taken in by the 'premium' image. You really couldn't have picked a worse analogy if your intent was to defend Apple's pricing policy.

It has more to do with wanting a lighter, more portable product that does the same thing. It's been said many times before. The iPad 3 and 4 are quite heavy to hold for long periods.

...Because this is the deals section, not the vouchers section. I won't vote something hot if someone posts multiple deals applying the same voucher to different products. If this was also a great base price to start off with, and then a voucher made i even better, that wouldn't be a problem...

I am pro- keeping the deals and voucher sections discrete, and anti- multiple deal posting with the same voucher code.

I hope there are many out there who agree. :3
