Clicking add to basket, then it shows the price of £215 ex VAT in the shopping basket (not £246).

Then apply coupon for £40 off: HPOPTF

Then the final price inc VAT will be £210.62.

Also HP is providing a rebate of £50 on this model until September 30th. There is a link to the rebate form on the product page.

Of course you can save additional 3-4% via quidco too.

I've been looking for a decent integrated GPS&PDA unit and at this price this seems to be a real bargain.

This is for rx5720 model which is almost the same as rx5935 which has WIFI and EU map added.

I was just reading the terms and conditions of the rebate:

"12. The offer is valid only in the UK for private end users and business customers. This offer may not be combined with any other promotional offers or special pricing offered on the qualifying products during the timescale of this promotion."

So I guess the rebate won't be paid if the code for £40 off is used??? therefore making the pda come to about £192 after quidco.

oops! this is something I did not check carefully.

I ordered it last night and then this morning I called the HP customer service and made an enquiry if I will still get the rebate of £50, quoting my order No., asking that she checked my order details carefully, but not mentioning anything particular about the terms and conditions. She replied immediately "Yes" and told me I will get the product delivered tomorrow.

So I hope that I will get a rebate after obtaining the formal invoice separately. Still not sure what is the final form of invoice. If it only shows the final price, I presume that there won't be a problem. Otherwise I will use this phone conversation as supporting evidence.

But I'm not really sure about the final outcome. Finally even without rebate, this would be a reasonable deal, considering that most shops charge about £250, then £200 after a rebate.

A bit on the pricey side for a Windows Mobile 5 device.

Actually it's damm cheap comsidering that it includes:

BT & WiFi

450mb free ram

SD card slot

integrated GPS receiver

TomTom 6

3.5" screen
It's just a shame that it's a QVGA screen or I'd buy one myself as my VGA Dell X50v has just died. For most people this won't be an issue but when you've used a VGA PDA it's hard to go back to a QVGA device!
