750 Mins, Unlimited texts, unlimited internet. If you spend £35 a month with anyone else the minimum contract is 18 month and you get around half the minutes but the phone costs nearly as much.

I think this is the nearest to a fair deal I have seen for a I-Phone yet. Still not as good as the deals for a Desire, but best price for an I-Phone.
#15
with o2 you would pay £35 a month with 300min and it would be an 18month contract and you pay £59 for the phone, or £149 if you want to go for the 3GS with only 300min
#16
What a massive rip off, I expected it to be £20 a month with free 3G

which is almost a 2 year old phone.

how can this be hot at all?
#17
Please remember the new OS4 is not going to be compatible with 3g, so buying a 3g now is not the best idea. An iphone is way too expensive, and with the new iAd is going to be very irritating too soon. Thats why I went for the Desire.
#18
Hugely overpriced for such outdated technology. They must be joking.
#19
Yeah....gonna wait.
#20
good deal with staff discount i get 25% off these prices so the 45 quid a month one would be about 33 quid result
#21
Yeah, probably the best deal for iphone but still so damn expensive. I'm still desperate for one, I have an ipod touch and it's just so useful and I use it every day. It would be amazing to do all of the things I do at home on the touch but on the move but also with all of the other added features. I'm hoping they have some better deals when the new phone comes out but I doubt it.
#22
You can buy a 16gb for about £300-320 on ebay...?
#23
The only tarrif i can see that is unlimited is the £45 p/m one. As a tesco employee we have a staff offer on at the moment which is a lot more along the lines of this offer. I could get the 32GB white for £79 on the £32 p/m unlimited everything on a 12 month contract, this is a staff only deal though.

Its ok people waiting but i wonder how much the new iphone will be i'd say quite a bit more then this one
#25
overpriced though! better to buy from ebay....
#26
This kicks all the other iPhone deals into touch. Its about time the 3GS came down.

Still hugely priced compared to other phones, but other phones are not iPhones so dont waste your breath comparing because they dont.
#27
No phone i dont care what it is and what it does is worth over 30 quid a month.

The phone companies are robbing us blind.

Good deal though if thats what you want i suppose.
#28
I bought a 8gb 3g for £230 + [email protected] about 2 months ago --- lol

*awaits abuse*
#29
Over priced? a HTC desire is expensive and isnt half as good or easy to use, why would I want a HTC, the only people who big up the smaller brands are people who dont have an iphone. Its the same with games, or any electronical device, the people who always have the alternative always act like its far better

This isn't correct - its only the original 2g iphone that wont receive OS4. The 3G and 3GS will.
#31
actually, my old deal works out cheaper for 12 months..... woot
#32
looks pretty good to me. It's almost impossible to get a 12 month contract, let alone on an Iphone.

I upgraded to the 3gs a few months back, so sadly no good for me
#33

'just' £45 per month?

45 x 24 = £1080 :o

Ridiculous
#34
why do they say ' free wi-fi ' they aint giving you it free... it IS free anyway
#35
8gb iphone isn't a 3gs is it ?
I don't think the title should be iphone 3gs from £100
Daz.

Folks this is a great phone both 3G and 3GS and I have owned(and still do) own both.
Please note however that Apple will be upgrading the operating System of the handsets to version 4.0 around June and some new features of that will not be supported on the 3G such as 3rd party multi tasking.

Depends who the end user will be and what they want it for I suppose but better to know methinks as a potential buyer.
#37
Title needs to be changed from 'iPhone 3GS from £100' to 'from £200'.

Seriously. I'm an ex-iphone owner. They suck. It's nothing but a toy and you'll only be allowed to do what apple tell you. I mean there are practical problems too like the fact that it doesn't have proper internet (no flash), no skype on 3G, no way of selling your unwanted/unused apps on, expensive music store, no multitasking, no integrated IM client (I used ebuddy but that didn't highlight phone numbers in messages).

If you want a basic phone that has more looks than function, gopher it. But seriously, it's really just not that good.

(I felt so strongly about it, I registered!)

i love my iphone, easily the best phone i have ever had, and i have had pretty much them all. i currently have the 3g version, I have missed out on the 3gs as i am awaiting the new release soon.

I would caution against people getting the 3G one, because, well with the later firmwares it cane feel quite sluggish, it just doesnt have the real umph that it needs. The 3gs may be only a single letter, but it is a different piece of technology altogether inside, it runs at between 2x and 4x the speed of the 3g phone.
