This doesn't look that good to me. Sorry!
#2
people will hark on about long contract lengths and dodgy 3 network coverage. but if you've got the coverage and don't mind the long contract the I don't think you can do much better.

hmmm...I cant see it myself. For the 32gb its £25pm and £426 for the phone. Over the 12 months it will cost you £726. You get less minutes / texts / internet...

if you were to get a £15pm sim only deal it would cost you £906 for 24 months...but you get less?!
Am I missing something?
#13
plus tesco's cashback is only £35...

I'm not being funny with you, I just dont get why the tesco deal is better and this is so cold?!

3mobile signal is very good in my local area,o2 is dire.
Now this deal costs far too much imho.

Tesco have in the past week risen there monthly prices fron 20.00 to 25,00 and from 35.00 to 40.00 so both of these deals Tesco and 3 to be avoided

MONEY > SENSE!
#18
Yeah, that same sim only contract is £25 ppm on three. So that leaves the iphone 4 for £10*24, which by my reckoning is the cheapest you will get one anywhere.

I am referring to the 16gb obviously.

MONEY > SENSE!

It's £35pm...more money than sense? Each to their own but its bot gonna leave me bankrupt! It also serves as a new replacement ipod.

Suppose two cups n a piece of string would be cheaper...could buy some more two stripe beans with the change :p

One thing I would say is that apple will release the iPhone 5 this summer, and it would cost you very similar amounts. Also you could save money between now and July and that could enable you to get a 12 month contract.

As much as I despise Apple and I would never consider buying one of their products, it's hardly living beyond their needs. Can you afford to pay for your gas and electric over the next 2 years in 1 lump sum tomorrow? Thought not, doesn't mean you're living beyond your means does it...

Good Deal.

Dont forget this also includes internet at home as well, as long as you can get a 3G signal.

Three are the ONLY UK network to offer FREE tethering and genuine UNLIMITED 'All you can eat' data.

Thumbs up to Three, Ive just ported away from O2. :D

Makes sense if you want to use it as home broadband. But I seriously think there will be some clause in there for excessive usage.

I am on my iPhone for hours a day. Always on the internet and every post I make on here is on it. In 2 years I have used 5gb. 500mb isn't that bad. I also download alot of apps. It goes along way.

No clause whatsoever. :D
I know alot of people jumping ship to this plan.

I do the above and also stream alot of radio and tv.
1 hour of streaming radio alone takes up 35MB!
With that measly allowance youd only be able to listen to 30 mins of radio a day! let alone do anything else!

Ive just jumped ship from the Original O2 Iphone tariff where i was getting unlimited data. Any upgrade and I would have to agree to the new O2 terms with a 500MB limit on data. I asked customer services for the average monthly data usage for me over my 18 month contract and it was 3.2GB! Easily done.

why so cold? Old Iphone 3G came free on a £35 a month contract. The new Iphone 4 only comes free (well mainly unless you deal search hard) on a £60 a month 24month contract. thats £1440. And thats for the 16gb!!! Why is this so cold? So many minutes, actually UNLIMITED internet (not capped at 2gb or anything). voted so cold yet everyone hates and can not point out a better deal. "Smuggling Pnuts" definately go for the deal... just make sure THREE signal whereever your going to use the phone daily is excelent.

Pft, cold voters just because it's 3. They've started to get better if you ask me. If you can get the coverage, go for it. If you're not 17 and wanting the latest tech, the iphone should last you 2 years. And you can always sell it and get the newest on release keeping the awesome data contract.

How anyone can vote this cold is beyond me xD.
#37
I walked past my '3' shop on sat and they were doing this deal but the iphone was free!!!!
Dont know if it was just that shop, or just on sat! This was in Chatham, Kent

Three are offering 'as much data as you can eat' tarriffs while most others are reducing their data side of things, in an attempt to woo the data heavy smartphone market.

I was assuming they didn't have £4k sitting in the bank - surely most people don't?

Didn't 3 vastly upgrade their broadband network, hence the large advertising campaign? If it's still drops reception when someone on 3 next to them sends a txt, than they can stick it!
