£599 just for the phone apple website. How much would all the call and extras cost over 2 years ?. I think more than £20 a month

totally agree ridiculous for what is just a phone!
#4
Decent deal for someone that needs 2000 cross net minutes and 5000 3-3 oO
#5
i know these are a good bit of kit but for gods sake...its only a phone. Get a good phone on contract for about £15 a month for 18mths and with the money you have left get a brand new laptop..!!
#6
Get an android phone. I have a Nexus one. If this is what Androids are going to be, then these phones are the way to go. Prefer it to my mrs Iphone. Cheaper too, flash with 2.2 and loads of apps being added everyday.

Android the way forward. Plus 3 are rubbish.

Its not 'just a phone' though is it? It has the Internets, the Tom Tom GPS App is amazing (I use it almost every day in when Im working over-sea's) It plays Movie's and games. Its basicly a PC in your pocket.I have the 4 and use it all over the world with my Job and would hate to be without it.

I dont even know why I bothered posting that, people like you will never see the bigger picture.

Seems bit expensive paying £45 a month for 24 month contract ...and then something towards handset on top oO as for Three i found them ok i've been various areas around Uk and found them better than likes of Orange who i have a contract with atm

For fcuk sake get a grip people and stop whinging about iPhone or spouting about how good your Android is. This is a deal for the iPhone 4, if you aren't interested don't comment or vote cold.

Doing a little research gives -

Three is £89 + 24 x £45 (2000 Mins, 5000 txt) = £1169 for the term (£1069 if you use the Quidco)
Vodafone is £189 + 24 x £45 (1200 Mins, unlimited txt) = £1269 for the term
o2 is £129 + 24 x £45 (1200 Mins, unlimited txt) = £1209 for the term
Tesco is £99 + 24 x £45 (Unlimited Mins, unlimited txt) = £1179 for the term
Orange is £130 + 24 x £45 (1200 Mins unlimited txt) = £1210 for the term

There are other slight differences in the plans but the minutes and txt are only considered here.

So, unless you find it cheaper it's a deal!!

Well done OP, and thanks for passing this on. Deals are what this place is about not iPhone vs Android.

Im not making a comment on the deal, I was replying to a comment claiming that the iPhone is just a phone and then basicly scoffing at the price. Clearly someone still living in the dark ages.

Bigger picture well and truely seen my peace loving monkey friend.

It's good for those that normally pay £45 for the contracts.

Past owners or just tried them once and never liked them? I'm no fanboi but I cant see why people hate them so much. I have also owned other Smart phones and I keep coming back to the iPhone. Jailbroken obviously. People seem to hate Apple for the sake of hating Apple. I dont own a Mac would never consider buying a FannyPad but I do love my iPone!

And there lies the problem, why should you have to void your warranty to get what you want when it can be had out the box with android

Even without Jailbreaking I would still rather have the iPhone. I believe the 4 is now able to be carrier unlocked too. My 4 is not Jailbroken yet but it will soon. Anyway, if you have a problem with your iPhone cant you just do a factory reset and send it back like normal? I'm not to clued up on this as my 2g, 3g and 3gs have all worked fine.

tesco deal is best if you are ok with the minutes amount or buy the phone and go onto any of the no phone tarriffs like o2's simplicity for £15-20/mth

im sticking with my iphone 3g on simplicity 30 days contract for £20 month...may change it to the same but 12month contract to save £5/month...but still considering getting thr iphone 4 (£600) and selling mine (should get about £200), but cant justify it at tthe mo.....the iphone 4 just isnt that much better than the iphone 3g imo....and yes i have seen and use it

agreed but iphone is here to stay....good to have an alternative....i think android phones are designed by techies, whereas iphones are designed by marketing/fashion consultants.....both have their pluses.....iphones look nicer and have better screens, better apps setup when it works! android phones are more user configurable, cheaper and usually have better functionality (apple going on about video calls - well this is 10 years old!! though im sure apple will implement it better)

i have an iphone and its great (looks, touch screen, some apps) and rubbish (some apps, support, cost, apples attitude, connectivity to non-apple devices, basic functionality until recently was poor)
#24
after 12mths you can downgrade so it will be less than £1000
#25
WELL IN NOT SUPRISED @ THE COLD VOTES some peeps dont like iphone, some dont like 3

COLD VOTERS FIND A BETTER DEAL AND POST ON HERE( DONT FORGET THE £100 QUIDCO)
Hotdeals is not about personal feelings of value it is about finding the best deal in the current market trends.

no doubt there will be better deals than this in the future. BUT i cant find 1 at the moment

so this is hot in my books and yes i will use 2000 minutes, business & personal
#26
I think this should be expired and reposted so that it'll give the real deal hunters a chance to see it. People voting cold without any idea of what they are talking about are just a waste of space.
