For £29.26 per month, get an iPhone 4 (pay one off charge of £117.77 for the phone) and get 300 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB data and a free option of either unlimited calls to landlines (UK), an extra 100 free mins or My Europe Extra (haven't looked into what this entails, but the title offers some hint).

I took on this deal when they were offering double the minutes, however the deal is still really good because even though it's a 2 year contract, you can upgrade after 12 months. AND, though it's a business tariff, individuals without a business can take up this offer.

Other tariffs inc:

34.26 pm for 600 mins and 750 mb data (phone costs £92.28) *remainder is the same as 29.26 tarriff
44.26 pm for 1200 mins and 750MB data (phone costs £33.51 on this tarriff).

Stop being such an anti-fanboy guy. The iPhone 4 is far from a crap phone, it just isn't to your taste. And for anyone looking to get one, this is actually quite a good deal.

I've read on the O2 forums that this is not the case, your contract length doesn't change when u upgrade ?

Sorry, can't understand fully.

Do you mean that in 12 months you can upgrade and you will have 24 months added onto the end of the contract? So, say if I got this deal, upgraded in 12 months, I would have 36 months left on my contract. Or does it just reset itself, ie every time I upgrade, my minimum contract length is reset to 24 months from upgrade date?

Just to clarify, the contract length is 24 months and you can upgrade the phone after 12 months. If you keep the exact same tariff you can carry on with the remaining 12 months on the contract. If the tariff is changed, the 24 months starts from the point of upgrade again. In both cases the upgrade option is still available after another 12 months.

I dont think thats true.
This is how I think it goes.
Its a 24 month contract. You get an iPhone 4. If you dont upgrade the phone after 12 months the contract ends after 24 months.
If you upgrade the handset after 12 months your basically starting a brand new 24 month contract from that date.
This can go on and on and on if you want. Every 12 months you get a new phone but your contract is always 2 years ahead of you. The only way to get out of the contract is to not upgrade after 12 months and let it run for 24 months.
Its good for people who want the latest phone and are willing to stay with O2 for a long period.
