works out as £909 over the two years of the contract for the 16GB version which sounds a lot but...

•2000 any network minutes
•5000 texts
•5000 Three-to-Three minutes
•All-you-can-eat Data

sure seems like an awful lot for the money, think 3's coverage has got far better in recent times also

this isn't my first post please be as rough as you can x x

I'm feeling a strange sense of deja vu here.
#2
this isn't a deal isn't this three's standard tariff?

but yeah it is a good deal
#3
PS Quidco will give you a big wedge back.
#4
where u gettin £999 from
#5
not voting on the deal but 3 are garbage. Would be worth paying extra for decent customer support from anywhere but 3.
#6
£909 bargain!!!
#7
ouch
#8
Which model is this for (16gb or 32gb)?
#9
Tesco deal is far better and only a 12mth contract

whoever sees this as a bargain needs their head seeing to... Talk about style over substance and more money (and vanity) than sense. Spending this on a phone will not change your life, it will still be crap. Although Apple like to imply you're buying a lifestyle, you aint; it's ... a ... phone ... X)
#11
Has the world gone mad!!!...£999 for a damn fone!!..and it doesn't even work properly as a fone either, with all the signal loss...Apple really needs to seriously get off their high horse and come with products that are worth that much...jeez

the phone isn't £999, you're paying for the minutes/txts etc for 2 years but still cold from me

They're brilliant just don't expect it to wake you up in the morning

if you continue on the Tesco £20 tariff for for the following 12 months then this would come to £909. the same but the Three tariff has much more minutes, texts and data.

only if you were to drop down to a lower than £20 per month tariff for the next 12 months would you get a better price. but you you get the equivalent minutes, data and texts.

three let down by customer services but still a good deal.

its an in store thing not online. and its the 32Gb.

have been thinking of going for this just one thing holding me back does anyone know if three text allowance can be used abroad. like O2 who take 4 of you allowed text when sending from abroad. (when you have a designated number of texts not unlimited as they charge regardless then)

lol @ people thinking this is 999 for the phone

doesnt the tesco deal work out as over 650 over 12 months with a fraction of the allowances??

seems like a more than fair deal to me when i spotted it at my local 3 store the other day, as for the iphone haters, you only hate iphones because you cant afford one IMO, yeah its an expensive phone but its genuinely miles better than any other phone i've ever owned

And it isn't overpriced cr*p ?
More fool you.

you obviously dont own an iphone

ps. £69 for an iphone, not really overpriced is it?? i paid £450 for mine on PAYG in may and still think it has been worth every penny, i would agree its not cheap but it is a very high quality bit of kit, my missus has been through competitors a BlackBerry, samsung galaxy and the htc and none have been a patch on the iphone

also maybe worth mentioning

quoted from Three:

From now on, we’ll be removing the 1GB data allowance currently available on The One Plan and replacing it with something completely different.

We’re calling it All-you-can-eat Data, and it’s not like anything you’ll see from anyone else. Unlike other data plans, there are no restrictions and no crafty ‘fair usage’ policies containing hidden data caps. We’re leaving behind the ‘old mobile’ world of limits and allowances in favour of a new world that gives you the freedom to use your smartphone to do everything it was designed for without the worry of cost.

Our new world has no data restrictions, you can use as much as you want and we’ll never charge you a penny more.

If you’ve been to all-you-can-eat restaurants before, you’ll already be familiar how this works. You pay once, you get as much as you want the first time round, and you can still keep coming back for more. And yes, if you want to use your phone as a dongle (also known as tethering) then you absolutely can.

FREE INTERNET TETHERING ALSO!!

most people on here dont get the idea of contract phones, they would rather pay £400 for a phone and then £30/month on credit because they're stupid, i wouldn't have an iphone though as i don't like them as a phone, i'm happy with my desire as a phone and my ipod touch as an mp3 player

Would NEVER use Three again. Customer service is non existant.

its for the 16gb ...the 32gb is the same but with 159 upfront cost (e.g. for phone)

Has anybody on here used 3 customer services lately?! I've been with them only since August and every time I've had an issue they have been great!

I've never had a problem with Three! Only used their CS a few times to shift my number across with PAC codes, and once to get the code for my phone becasue I put in the wrong security code 3 times and it locked up on me!! Sure, they spoke with thick Indian accents, but they were nice and sorted me out!! As far as I am concerned, Three have the best PAYG deal going, with free MSN Messenger, Skype, eBay, Facebook etc, even if you have no credit you can still use these for free!!!!!! + loads of free texts, minutes and internet data whenever you top up and it doesn't expire for 3 months... Three are ace... Was with T-Mobile for years and they are total crap compaired...
#25
I had a horrific time trying to leave Three where they basically ignored my requests for a PAC code. It was unbelievable. I'd be reluctant to ever go back to them now after that.

It's a reasonable deal with the tethering though, just shame about the company.

This is way too cold, it seems a good deal for what it is. Not had issues in the past when I was with Three mobile so voted hot. £106 cashback via quidco.
