  Yes but if they have been refurbished such as a screen change Apple don't have to honour the warranty as you have voided the terms and conditions, therefore the onus would be on you to prove a manufacturing defect rather than a defect caused by repair, good luck with that!

  Its been refurbed by an apple certified centre. I had my iPhone 4 exchanged no problems. Apple only check to see its not been water damaged or dropped etc. They won't open the phone up and check bit by bit unless the screws look tampered with whereas they just refuse exchange if they see that.

  I had 5 iPhone 4s and I totally agree each one they did an instant replacement bar one which they took apart to check and if it's a front screen replacement you have to remove everything including main board to get to it. I'm only advising that the Apple guarantee is not a given and it's ok saying what are the chances but if it goes faulty in 90 days and you do get it spot checked...
