The faqs state you only get 28 days warranty to return if the phone develops a fault? This can't be right surely?

Easy to unlock?

It tells you the minimum warranty is 3 months, yet there is no exact warranty for this phone.

Is that a refund warranty?

Yes if you're a Vodafone contract customer you have to use your sim in it for 30 days, then you can apply for it to be unlocked for free via online form.

Doesn't specify it's a no quibble return period but assume so, just odd it explicitly states only 28 day return period if faulty. Noticed the 3-12 month warranty banner after, so who knows? Put me off buying though.

Orders from Sainsburys for phones is just a big waste of time it seems. Ordered the LG G4 deal which was also cancelled.

much better company than musicmagpie

My Brothers experience this week with musicmagpie
Thurs 11th - iPhone 6 ordered 'good' condition
Sat 13th - delivered with - fairly battered, speaker volume very low
Monday 15th - returned
Wednesday 17th - confirmation its been received, and a replacement once sourced will be sent
Friday 19th - email to say that a no replacement found and refund being made

Poor customer service, no alternative presented (and they have 100's in stock), no apology for the poor service, no service recovery - not bothered!

MusicMagpie - dont bother! BAD customer service!

Like I said before Sainsburys phone shop needs to be excluded from this site. Apparently they are closing down so little or no stock and people who have responded to postings on here have had their orders cancelled. A complete waste of time. Simply not a Hot UK Deal.

That doesn't sound particularly bad!

They had the Harrier Mini available for ages, at least before the £15, last few, price.

I'd agree with this. I bought the iphone 6 deal - a "very good" for £193. It came in a right state, filthy and with more gashes/dents than expected. The phone battery shows as 75% on one app and 80% on another app and is classed as "bad". I know from reading MM's reviews that they reject phones as faulty if the phone shows a battery capacity at less than 80%. Paying extra for "very good" I thought it would actually be in a good condition.

Also I am too scared to ask for a refund because after reading the reviews of how they treat people selling their phones to them - they seem to treat the phones badly effectively wrecking phones during the testing period and then claim the seller sent it like that and then the seller only gets a couple of quid for the phone they sent in a decent condition.

Last thing I want is to send it back and not get a refund so stuck with a phone with a crap battery. Would rather have done the o2 thing instead. The phones I've got refurbed from them have only every had a few charge cycles on them and the cases/phone really was "like new" with just a single mark or small gash or scratch on the case.
