Can people voting negative please specify why?

I personally wouldn't have anything other than an iPhone and the 12 month upgrade means that you can keep up with any new iPhone releases

iphone is good but ruined by apple's pathetic connectivity spoilers....eg...i cant connect my iphone to my win7 64bit pc as it freezes itunes, ok on xp, haphazrd on win 7 32bit......it takes forever to load itunes because its deliberately badly written...
ive also lost a years worth of data because the sync regularly fails
lots of people gets these probs and apple does nothing.....other than blame microsoft....microsoft arent perfect but boy apple are far from the perfect they think they are
i have no end of connectivity issue between the iphone and my apline car stereo.....i also cant play itunes music on my xbox360 because apple are ********...one minute it works, next it doesnt....add that to the unncessary bespoke kit....im thinking twice about getting another iphone

See I've had a completely different experience, no problems whatsoever except having to get some fluff problems with the headphone jack in which the apple store sorted it for me in seconds. No sync issues either, everythings always been backed up perfectly fine and I've had to use a restore due to an insurance claim from losing my phone.

LMAO - for a deliberately badly written piece of software it gets a lot of good press!

Great offer IMO - saves £90+ in first 3 months and the yearly upgrade is great.

Heat from me!

Whether its deliberate or not, iTunes is badly coded.
It hogs memory like crazy and requires about 10 other processes to run just to support its features.

It's good though, using it now, but again, poorly made software, on Windows at least - apparently Mac version is a lot better.
#8
Very true, on Windows it is badly written as it's just been ported over from Mac rather than rewritten. On the Mac, it's great, it's fast. When I use it on Windows, I hate it. Same way some programs run better on Windows.

Well of course iTunes is better on the Mac platform - that's what it was written for. And the iPhone is running a toned down version of Mac OS. Seems that (as usual) people are not voting for the deal, but on their perceptions of the iPhone, however misguided they may be :-)

They're hardly rare, it is widely regarded as the most overpriced/rated phone available.

Will be interesting to see what the 4G comes up with though.

Didn't question the "deal", but whats the point having a section for comments if you're not allowed to comment on the product. A lot of people follow the bandwagon without actually knowing much about the technology (lack of), just a heads up for them.

Clearly an iphone hater. Why do you think the iphone is overrated then. Overpriced fair enough but this deal slightly helps that part.
