If I can get an iphone deal hot, I'll post my next deal in my underwear. (It's pretty safe pledge)

PS to find the deal, just lift the "upfront cost" slider to £250 and it'll appear

Yup, as cold as it gets. Pity none of the cold voters can tell me where the better deal is to be found. Although, I'd be quite happy if the "iphone bad" voters would convince my daughter.

This site is now quite useless for iphone deals. They are all frozen cold, but no one ever tells you where there's better bargains.

If you are buying a phone with 1Gb of data for a child you might as well file for bankruptcy now.

I'm very pro Apple, won't have a bad word said about them, but the se is just an iPhone 5s in disguise...and your effectively paying 500 notes for a dated phone and an ok sim deal. Places like giffgaff offer better sims in my experience.

Well, that's not my experience. She's got access to wifi, and 500GB has done her for the last two years. Maybe I just have remarkable children.

The cheapest deal I can get for a 5s is just £100 less. And, I think you are wrong. This has the same specs as a 6S (with the same screen as a 5S. The 5s is discontinued, the SE isn't. GiffGaff want £350 for this, and £10 a month on top for the sim. But link me to the better deal if you can?

Giffgaff want £210 + 16.90 a month for (basically) the same.

You do indeed have a remarkable child. I made my comment assuming she was a typical teenager (or else why would she want an Apple product, teendom implying lack of rationality) Probably a wrong assumption - apologies.

BTW, don't give way to pester power. I made my 14 year old buy a 2nd hand i-something with her own pocket money. Thankfully she's a bear of some brain and has recognised iTunes as the worst piece of software ever written so no more i-somethings. Mind you, she uses ~10Gb a month, often more.
Nice name "asm80"; my first assembler.

she agrees android is better. However, friends insist on the collective using imessage. so we're stuck on apple. I'm looking everywhere, but I still can't top this deal. Hoped someone could do better.
#12
There's hope for her. The imessage thing was a pain when 14-y-o moved to Android, but only for a while until her pals realised almost anything was better.

Well, cutting her off from her friends until they maybe see sense, doesn't work for me. So, meantime, still looking for the better Iphone SE deal that makes everyone vote this one cold.

Voted hot (for what its worth on an iPhone deal!) - I can't see a cheaper deal. There is an option on the same site for £185 upfront and £12.50 per month for 1000mins, 5000 txts and 2gb data. Works out £34 more overall but for twice the data (I know 1gb is enough for your daughter but might help other interested people). Cheers.

I wish this site would list "number of hot votes" as well as the net score. It would make it useful for things where there's a bunch of people going to vote cold because they don't like the item - meaning it's impossible for those who want to buy it to find the best deal.
