what actually is a refurb?

I believe it is a product which has been returned to Apple as it's developed a fault. They have then rectified the problem so that the product can then be sold 'as new' i.e. faultless. It doesn't come with any grubby paw marks on it either - they clean it if required. Essentially it's a fully working item which isn't 'box fresh'.

80Gb - I reckon you'll be glad you got that extra space. I've managed to fill my old 40gb one and it's really frustrating. But then if you want something more compact for say running, the nano's ideal.

Yeah i know what you mean. That's my worry about getting the 8gb.
That i'll fill it and then its useless.
But would i be able to fill a 80gb. I'm not exactly the biggest music buff.
What about the warrenty? do you find that it usaully has time left on it?

wats quidco please

It's a website which lists retail outlets who give you cashback if you buy through Quidco. It means that for some stores it's always worthwhile buying via Quidco as you get cheaper products (although this is not always the case as you may find somewhere cheaper which isn't listed).

It's worth noting that there's an annual £5 subscription fee, deducted from commission paid to you i.e. you don't pay unless you purchase though them.

Have a look: Quidco

We purchased one of these a couple of weeks back, it was a great deal, it arrived in super quick time, trackable and flown in from germany within hours. the ipod is spotless, no scratches on the metal case at the back, clean and perfect, boxed and with new earphones you absolutely wouldnt know it was a refurb. the box was not plain but standard box which was also perfect...cant fault it...super super deal

Great deal! But now out of stock.

Bought my 30gb version a few years ago from Apple Refurb and still going strong. Plus FREE delivery and 12 months warranty!
