The price is the same as at Apple? Not really hot.
Yeah, there is a voucher. But the price is identical to RRP without the voucher. I'll wait I think.

Pirce won't be cheaper than this! been waiting for this deal! But people seemed to think the apple one was brilliant when I said otherwise :?

I thought they would be available at £149 or so in a few weeks? Amazon always manage to lop a few percent off of the RRP don't they?
Play? eBuyer?
#8

ipods dont really change much until the end of their life cycle. and is it really worth waiting a month or so on the off chance of a few quid?

All I'm waiting for is someone to post on here for a deal that knocks £20+ off the £160 original price and I'm happy.

same again! has anyone seen them in stock? or do JL just auto email every day?

Becuase I keep getting emails confirming stock, and when I look they are gone...
#15
Any answer as to when it's in stock please? :)
#16
nope no stock, I ordered from Empire Direct last week in the end as they are cheapest. Just sent an email off to them asking about when they might receive some stock.

Played around with the nano last week too, got to say am well impressed. It's tiny (you cant comprehend it until it's in your hands), well built (I like the new casing, shouldn't scratch as easy anymore) and the software and menus are the best yet!
#17
Many thanks, how much was it from Empire Direct btw? I guess there are some codes?
#18
There are currently 3 of the New Apple iPod Classic, 160GB, Silver, in stock.

? Anyone?

How about Dixons 5% of code (DISC47) and Egg card 5% off? That gives total price of £151.05 less Egg cashback of £7.55.
Ipod Classic 80GB for £143.50.

just been every where locally to get an ipod 80gig classic you cant get these for gold dust. Ended up at the apple shop at lakeside they had some. Think there is a shortage for this one since the price drop.

bit worried about ipods now. had a 60 gig video and after 13 months it developed a fault (wasnt dropped) where it kept rebooting. seems common fault looking at internet but cost is about the same as a new one to fix. apple is getting peoples contempt even more then microsoft now and i think there made to last a year so they rake in the money. shame there so nice.

i just dont know which to go for 80gig classic or 270 quid ipod touch.

I went through 4 lots of 4th gen iPods. They've been the worst so far in my experience, the hard drives just were not man enough for the job and ******* out regulary.

I got my 5th gen as a free replacement though, but then I did have to send my ipod off 4 times and live without it for weeks at a time.

and I sold that 5th gen a day before these were announced, sold it for £150 and bought the new 80gb for £140 :giggle:
