I picked up the 8gb version last week and it arrived - brand new in Ipod box, never used and no scratches on it. Absolute bargain.

Mainly the same save for the screen being moved and the shake and genius functions. There are other benefits like battery life but it's a slight evolution more than a revolution. This one will play the same music, the same videos and the same games at the same resolution and for the money is a barg. I initially thought they were odd looking but got one free with my mac and in person it is quite thin and sorta charming in it's tubby way. Nice and solid too. Woulda kept it if I'd needed one.

The new one is bigger but has the shake to shuffle; screen view tilts with the screen and the software can suggest playlists.

Apple have always had a refurb page, mind, this is better than their previous gen ipod refurb that went for £65

Thanks OP, picked up a 4GB for my 9yr old for Chrimbo.

Great deal.
6% cashback for Quidco users too:thumbsup:
Sorry, just noticed Quidco is mentioned in post title

For me the 4th Gen Nano doesn't do enough extra to warrant the extra cash. Shake to shuffle? Who cares? Auto screen orientation for video? Whoopy do. Genius playlists? Not fussed.

I think it's worth the extra few quid for twice the capacity though.

i got the 8gig and its chocca full of stuff no room at the inn for any more songs or vidcasts may need to upgrade
