It is one the page after you add to basket, choose collect at store or delivery and bobs your uncle :)

Got this on the argos deal at £49 the other week, can confirm it has the nike+ built in from scratch, the pedometer, various clocks built in allowing you to mount it on a wrist strap etc

Good post.16gb is a good deal. Stock running out fast. Suggest you call ASDA direct to secure the order as the web-site failed to accept my order, but the guy on the phone was able to help out. Could not get the Green model as it is now out of stock, but the orange is still for sale at £75 (@9:25am).

Would this be the 2nd gen ipod nano with the built in nike+?

This will be either the 6th or 7th gen iPod nano..

The 6th and 7th are identical from a user perspective (once the 6th has been plugged in and updated - the nike+ etc was a firmware update).

I believe the casings etc are identical, and, short of taking it to bits, it's impossible to tell if it's a 6 or 7.

The internal changes were most probably cost cutting for Apple.

£75 for a 16 is amazing, i'd be all over that if I didn't get an 8 from Argos for 49!

According to wiki there is actually no 7th gen - I think the announcement from Apple was just about the updated firmware, the physical device never changed and so remains the 6th gen as far as I can see... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPod_Nano

Edit: Apple also makes no mention of a 7th gen nano on their support pages, it only goes up to 6th gen :)

The 16GB one is certainly looking OK value.
At 8GB one must consider that better sounding upgradeable Clip+ offer at £20 (36GB for £40 or less).
    nice-new
Or you can just buy a Sansa Clip+ with a 32Gb micro SD card for cheaper with a better sound quality. And you don't need itunes.^^

Edit: LadyEleanor, same idea, same time.

Ordered a 16GB orange one delivered to store, don't think its the nicest colour (Graphite looks best) but for the price can't complain...

Just use a cover with the colour of your choice on and you'll barely see the orange :)

Apple's iPod range is refreshed annually in September. Even your link suggests it's mid-cycle with it being 5 months away :)

My est delivery to store is 8 April - anyone have prior experience to suggest it might be sooner?
