Just been Currys Superstore in New Malden and found all new 8GB iPod Nano for £99 this is the cheapest I've seen them anywhere.

The sale assistant told me this was only for the next 3 days.

The price is the same online and on the PC World website

Wish they'd stop lowering prices on things I've just bought!

Not many people know this, but Amazon has a price drop policy. If they lower the price on something that youve purchased within the past 30 days, theyll issue a credit (although you have to ask for it).

If you want to check if any of your purchases are eligible for a refund, just follow these simple steps:

1. Visit Your Account and look at all invoices from the past thirty days.

2. Click on the item names to pull up the current item description/price and compare to the price that you paid.

3. If you paid more than the current price, copy down the order number and go to the Return and Refunds Contact Form page.

4. Select Refund Inquiry as your subject, and check off the order(s) of interest. If you dont see the order in question listed, enter the order number in the Other field.

5. State in the comments that the price dropped, and that you want to be credited for the difference. It might help to mention the item name as well as old and new price, but Im not sure that this is necessary.

Works fine if your item is less than 30 days from dispatch.

Go through quidco and Reserve and Collect. 3% from quidco and use a £5 voucher when you collect instore.

Brings price down to about £91.

I thought Amazon had dropped that policy last year (I'd love to be wrong though)?

Sadly they canned this policy some time ago (the same time that they started offering free delivery on everything IIRC).

Where do you get the £5 voucher please? magazine or something?
#11
Seems to be a good deal specially if you can get the voucher as well...
#12
Looks like Amazon have price-matched this deal too.
#13
Amazon are working overtime. Do your own deals ffs or at least beat them ;)

Cracking price!
Anyone else think they are just toooo small tho lol! :D

these are rubbish, the 5th gen has a bigger screen so you can see more songs when scrolling and you can change tracks and the volume without getting it out of your pocket unlike this. I bet apple will be making the next nano like the 5th gen but with touchscreen and apps.
#16
Pity there's no cracking deals on the 16GB Nano. £143 in Argos/Amazon, down from £159 is about the pick of them.

Just noticed that the silver & graphite 8GB Nanos have gone back up to £116 on Amazon!

Next nano will be like this with Bluetooth.

Where do you get the £5 voucher from to use instore ?

Voucher from the gift guides in store. Pick one up and enter the code on the million pound giveaway promotion site and at the least you will get £5 voucher.
#21
anyone know where the cheapest RED version is?

Thank you.
#22
Got one last night, very pleased. Cheers OP!
#23
Overpriced for what is essentially an mp3 player! You could buy a phone for this much and add a memory card for a little less!
#24
got mine this morning using the £5.00 voucher so £94.00, also got GT5 for £18.99! because i'd spent over £50

Actually if you go to HMV you pay £129 but get a £25 itunes voucher, plus a £10 hmv voucher and a free portable docking station thing worth £30...I got that and the sound is fantastic. Not on website from what I can see, in store only.

I had a choice between two, I went for a Gear4 Street III I think it was called but could have got another one which had a clock and remote, guy in store said sound quality wasnt as good though. Definitely applied to Nano as well in HMV Glasgow but their deals do change every Friday I believe.
