Very Hot...Seems to be arguments on the voucher forum stating that they take the full amount then you will get the £30 refunded after 14 day period :?

As I've said on other posts .. I setup an account in December but never used it. I received a call from a customer service rep on Monday night this week stating i'd not used my "new customer discount", I played dumb and said I wasn't aware, he quoted the code above and said it would not work online, but if I phoned up the usual order line number before the end of Feb they would give £30 off a minimum £60 spend

One of those "god awful vouchers" that give you £30 discount? what is a "good" voucher in your eyes?

This voucher works (see other posts) but NOT online (see other posts).

By all means find me a cheaper iPod than this price.....

yes because if you search, you will see that there have been problems with these vouchers. They are only meant for the people they are given too not everyone

dont want to sound grumpy but can we stop having these so called "offers" for first time customers. We come on here looking for decent deals , first thing we look at is the picture , then the price, heart starts a racing but only to find its using the unreliable first time customer money off vouchers.
You could go through the whole catalogue listing each offer. You only have to go to the voucher section, get the code and then find what you want.
Most of the catalouges are run by Littlewoods so you can only use the code once and I would guess most users on here have well used it. :-)

totally agree with you

I have never received the voucher myself but used it 2 days ago with no problems.
The full amount was taken from my card & the £30 was refunded back on automatically.

Can I just state that the OP did actaully state 'additions direct - for new customers only' in the title line...
Not everyone looks in the voucher section & deals on iPods are hard to find.
All the OP has simply done is made people aware that there is a way of getting an iPod at a great deal.
#12
the problem is you use the voucher, its accepted and then several months down the line they ask for the money back or charge you

What the op has listed is a voucher, hence should be in the vouchers thread anyway

thanks for that mate (rep added)

to those that got out of bed the wrong side this morning - this deal for a Wii fit at Additions Direct using the same code is at 1350 degrees and climbing, so the code does work! :whistling:

The code is for ALL NEW CUSTOMERS and DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK VIA THE WEBSITE - you NEED TO RING UP!

If you don't want to try it fair enough, I'm just making people aware of the deal as it DOES work.

I agree it should be in the voucher thread, because otherwise people can list every product on sale for over £60 and say '£30 off' etc.

However I disagree with your other comments. I used the £50 off £100 spend for an ipod just before Christmas - worked a treat. No problems at all. Have you actually tried to use the voucher yourself or are you just using other peoples comments?

But as stated - use the discount code OVER THE PHONE - they will then confirm it HAS been accepted. :whistling:

great! worked for me voted hot. this is how i got a w810i for £30 last year

I used one of these imfamous codes a couple of months ago to buy an xbox and it worked a treat! They did send me a form saying I had applied for credit though??? Voted hot though!

Look at this thread.......

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/427132/dont-use-these-vouchers-littlewoods/

The vouchers may be accepted, but if you're not entitled to use them, i.e. they weren't sent to you, you may get a call a few months down the line looking for the value of the voucher back. Chances are you won't but it's a possibility.......

Just telephoned and was told that the voucher expired 22 June, so was unable to make use of it.

Not all the additions direct/littlewoods vouchers are bad, as a general rule don't use a voucher code from them unless you were e-mailed it yourself or you see it on the website.
That 30% off for new customers code for example was fine as it was advertised on the website.

If you want to use this code with additions direct I suggest you sign up for a new account then don't buy anything. After a week or so they will send you the code to entice you into buying something. If they send it directly to you then you are covered.

They are telling porkies . I have a letter from them with this code and it expires at the end of the year :whistling:

I forgot I posted this deal ... almost 6 months old and it just makes the front page
#26
Sorry if this sounds simplistic BUT why has this been posted in Deals instead of Vouchers??????????
#27
its a voucher, not an actual deal. cold.
#28
COLD because its a voucher code that works for new customers on any product not just this one therefore heat can only go to the voucher not this.

So by your thinking that would make most deals void as a lot of the posted deals are when people use voucher codes (e.g. most Tesco offers etc.)

:p

My god, how many deals on iPod Nanos from Additions Direct have I seen like this... tut tut. lol

I used the '£30 off your first order' code to buy a DS lite a few weeks ago, seemed to work fine online and so far no problems from Littlewoods.

Fingers crossed!
