anyone ever dealt with this company before?
banned#2
I cant understand why anyone would rate this cold, I would like to see somewhere else that does it anywhere near as cheap!
#3
yer but does it work though? what have this comp got to do with littlewoods?
banned#4
they are a branch of littlewoods, you can use the code at littlewoods as well if you like.
#5
it looks like when you ring them you already need an account then he mentioned that not everyone has a letter
so he couldn't process the discount until after I have paid. they look like they are clocking on to this. My account was deactivated from a long time ago.

so I'm not prepared to pay the full amount and then not get the discount

is there a work around?
banned#6
well as far as i am aware, the best idea is to create a new account and then phone them up telling them that you have received a discount code. If you look at the link i put in the post, it tells you in a lot of detail

Deal DOES WORK.Very hot.

Just phoned up LD and the operator confirmed this deal is for current and new customers due to expire 10th April (As stated by OP). All colours available.

Additions direct can be expensive and slow, but they do deliver within a "resonable" time (3-5 days usually)

This deal is VERY good.

Many thanks OP. Heat and rep added:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Nice one my man:thumbsup: LOL

I wish u could have got hold of the guy I talked to!!

He simply charged me the price as quoted by the OP (+ £3.95 DEL.)

Keep trying m8, although if u dont get the discount, the price is the same everywhere else and therefore not worth it, bummer !

true say mate if they don't take the money off right now and if I don't get an e-mail with the discount added it doesn't look like it would be worth ordering.

#24
I would be worried of them taking the £50 at a later date..but didn't they say they wouldn't when they tried last time?
VERY tempted tho...
banned#25
Well 1 person in this discussion got the £50 off straight away i think, so I dont think its possible for them to take the money off you
#26
I wont order just now then..
#27
yep I don't think it is worth taking the risk if they charge you full wack and give you "we'll reimburse you later" bull sh it
who is to know if they will take the money off later?

there seems to be some people that get it and others that don't
that is what I don't understand

if one person gets the discount right away then why do others not get it?

might be dependent on who processes it?
#31
I just rang up and was told i had to pay in full and £50 would be credited back into my account once the goods had been dispatched, dont know what to do now?

Do i trust them? has anyone had any issues with additions in the past

I've ordered three times from AD using discount codes and they have payed the discount back into my account on dispatch on all 3 occasions.

I know 3 orders is'nt a lot but I have had no particular problems in the past
#35
when you got your e-mail confirmation
did you see any discount on that e-mail travid?

It actually states "discount will be applied @ dispatch" and that seems to be the norm.

Hope this helps:thumbsup:

Guys i can confirm that this is how additions work, i bought the iPod shuffle 3g for £30 or so, half price using the £30 discount code. They charged me the full 60 or so and a few days later giving me back £30. I'm not sure if this is to check whether i am eligible? I did that online though, doing it over the phone seems a better idea as long as you don't lie about how you got the code (hopefully they dont ask?) since in their website it does say this about codes:

2.3 Promotional codes are codes that enable customers to obtain benefits such as discounts, free delivery and free gifts. These codes are non-transferable so may only be used by the person to whom they are issued and must only be used in accordance with their terms and conditions of use. If you use a promotional code to claim a promotional benefit, you must first check that it was issued to you and that you are eligible to use it. By using it to claim a promotional benefit you will be confirming that:-

(i) you are entitled to use the code;
(ii) you meet all the conditions that apply to its use;
(iii) you agree to the terms set out below.

If, before accepting your order, we find that you are not entitled to use the code or do not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reject your order or alternatively process it without the promotional benefit being applied. If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used. If you transacted on a credit basis, the value of the benefit obtained may be charged to your credit account.

2.4 Should you wish to cancel your order or return any goods, please go to the Returns section for further information.
