I do hope this is allowed, as the other deal for the E900 mobile was allowed. It uses the same codes:

XX230 (20%)
ZQ298 (Free Del)
ZG0333 (£30)

This allows you to get an iPod shuffle (in various colours to suit your style) and 2 metres of curtain for £15.05 delivered. You don't have to choose the curtains but they are a good filler item to make up the £60 mark. Also quidco available at 6%

You may need to create a new account for this :)

I think unfortunately for some you have to open an "account" - but you can pay the remaining off in one go when you get your first invoice :?

I dont know much about money at my age

As I said in the OP you dont have to go for the curtains - they are just something to make it to the £60 mark.

Perhaps I shouldnt have bothered lol.

Just tried it...2 of the codes work...but NO £30 discount for credit card orders!

But it looks like it might be OK to go for one of the other options, 20 weeks or 10 weeks INTEREST FREE.

I was looking to get some digital cordless phones earlier from Currys (£50) , they have some on here for £69 not the same, if I add an ipod shuffle (£56) and use the codes I can get them all for £67.05 DELIVERED which is LESS THAN the cost of the phones!

I'd watch out for this. Companies like Great Universal usually open credit accounts for you, and this sits on your credit record for years.

I looked at my credit history recently and it's full of **** my Mum signed up for over the years like:
Damart
Great Universal
Next Directory
La Redoute
Hotter
Littlewoods Direct
The list goes on...

...and now she can't get credit (and nor can I sometimes). Reason? "Overcommitted with multiple credit accounts".
#11
Simply write to them asking them to close the accounts. OP, thank you for a wonderful deal - as for the cold voters who can't have the decency to explain, it's their problem, as is an inability to read in some cases (I suspect some tried to order by card, it didn't work, so they voted cold).

Heat & rep added.
#12
Great deal, Emasu, for those that can be bothered to apply for the account. Can't believe it's still cold...guess some people want free stuff WITHOUT applying the effort...sigh...
#13
bleedin' brilliant mate, well done.
don't know why some idiots are voting cold, £60 worth of stuff for £15 - fantastic.
all they have to do is open an account, pay it off when the stuff arrives and then close the account. not exactly rocket science, is it?
#14
im not complaining

its a good offer
could you please tell me the cost of the curtains - as i will get something else around the same cost

I didn't know that could happen! Is there anyway you can get them removed?

Where can I view my credit history...for nowt!
#16
also bill

companies dont give reasons for declining credit - meaning the reason is unlikely

also if a card/account is £0 - it shows on your history

Also your mum's stuff shouldnt be on your history (which you said it was)

Just ordered - should be delivered within 3 days!
Voted HOT!!!

DONT FORGET YOUR 6% @ QUIDCO!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT:..........Refused credit! - HHMMMM - Never been refused credit before - I wonder why? - Maybe because I was baggin' a bargin?
#18
I have just placed my order and the order confirmation page listed the 3 discount codes. However my e-mail confirmation and account page haven't listed the 20% code.

I called them and they say it wouldn't accept more than 2 codes.

Check your e-mail and account to see if they have all been taken off.

Still got a shuffle and a towel for £32 though so not bad!

Check it out, I originally posted this sale  it gets worse towards the end!

If you have already ordered and it has gone through I wouldn't worry too much, just be extra careful when ordering from this company (especially sale items!)
#23
voted warm as these three codes used together have been on HUKD for the last ten days or so. All you have done is changed the product but used the same codes. i have used these codes on great universal and the discounts were all applied got a great bargain but that was almost a week ago

so as the codes are generic for ANY purchases over £60 then you havent described a new deal just a variation of an older deal.

As for all those worrying about what Great Universal will charge, in most cases the price to follow is the one that shows up under my account where it has total to spend.

For example mine showed £1000 total to spend, remaining available £954.00 balance to pay £46.00 even though my order showed a total value of £100

once i received my item i duly paid off the balance online (payment cleared in 2 days) and balance reset to £1000

i hope this helps

Well, that doesn't seem all that fair: it accepted three codes at checkout and we all made our orders on that basis. Also, if they're going to reject one of the codes, surely it would be better (for us) to have the free postage code rejected, rather than the 20% off.

My order is still being processed, so I'm not sure if they're trying the same trick on me, but my quidco tracking is showing 6% of £17.45 on this deal (I ordered a sheet instead of curtains), so I'm assuming that all three codes have been accepted.

hey whos bitchin!!!!!

if i was bitchin i would have voted cold!!!!!

i am just stating that if everyone who used these codes on different products issued it as a new deal then the whole forum would be full of Great Universal.

If you think its a good deal then vote it hot but dont criticise someone for an opinion thats just ignorance

It doesnt matter if its full of GU as the the thing that matters is the price and thats the bottem line, and i dont post if i voted cold or warm or luke warm or hot or whatever. so just chill and hit the buy button

You are meant to leave a reason as to why you vote cold on deals though. Also things like this aren't meant to be posted as individual deals on the forum. They are supposed to be posted in the original voucher thread. (See comments & suggestions for more info)

Hence voted cold (Plus code stacking is risky as they may not honour it as per there T&C's and charge full price)
#30
way ahead of you mate

used the three codes last wednesday got my item on friday and voted the original original OP hot!!!!!!!!!

Yes they will send you an email with shipping details once it is being dispatched. Just keep a printout of the bottom price (incl discounts). These companies have a habit of not honouring the discount codes and if your unlucky they will charge you the full whack without telling you. Bargains to be had though, just be vigilant

True code stacking is risky, true they might not honour the codes........but what if they do???????

surely that in itself is a risk worth taking even after weighing up the hassle of returning if they dont accept the codes.

My advice give it a try what have you got to lose......

thats true only IF it goes wrong......

if it all goes to plan however then what have you got to lose.....nothing

as i said run the risk you have a 50% chance of getting an IPOD or a mobile phone or anything else at a very reasonable price
#35
Voted Hot!

I know some people on here prefer deals like this to be posted under the same topic but I have no interest in a new phone so I didnt check the e900 thread. I have been looking for a good deal on a shuffle for ages and this is it!

It also gives the codes another chance to make the front page (although because of some very influential posters voting cold this doesnt look like it will happen this time).

A purchased a shuffle (£56) and a pillowcase (£5) as a filler for £15ish. Awaiting the confirmation email.

Many thanks for the OP! This deserves much more heat.

I chose the 20 weeks to pay option, but I just checked my account online and it appears that you can pay off in full by card...so I'll wait till my Ipod and phones arrive (should be tomorrow) then I'll pay up in full.
