Please be kind as this is my first post!
I picked this up in our local Sainsburys but its a national promotion, seeing as you'd probably buy an itunes voucher as well it makes the ipod only £160 but if you dont use itunes then its not a good offer!!! Seems like a good deal to me and you dont need to bother with cash back and waiting in for delivery!!

Good deal, hot!

No mention of itunes card on site. Cold.

Buy any iPod from BestBuy.co.uk this weekend and get 15% cashback from Qudico/TCB ... surely this is better than the Sainsburys offer ???

This deal doesn't make the ipod £ 160 it makes the cost of an ipod and itune voucher £ 185. If you don't buy stuff from itunes the voucher is only worth what you can sell it for and as there is often some deal or other available on itunes (eg recent argos offer) that is probably £ 15 max. There are better deals out there.

With that aggressive behaviour I don't why i would want to help you but you could try reading other posts - one even posted above.e.g. tesco it is £ 189 but you get minimum of £ 29 of vouchers plus cash back so good deal unless you never go shopping in Tesco and fantastic deal if you use the rewards - just open your eyes and look around.

If you don't need itunes the best deal I have found is amazon £166.30
amazon

or Tesco have it for £189 with 2500 clubcard points (depending on how you use your points, if you use them for deals this may be a good deal as it will get you £86 of deals) but it does seem to be out of stock at the moment.
tesco direct

It's £179 on best buy.
With the 15% back on quidco that's £152.15.

You cant say it makes it £160 when I think alot of people can live without an itunes voucher

I agree with the sentiment, except if you are buying an iPod Touch with no intention of purchasing from iTunes you are not really making the most of the device. And I don't mean music and videos here, I mean all the applications available. If you don't intend to buy games and apps for the iPod Touch then you should be buying a cheap mp3 player.

It'd be kinda helpful if the OP could put the which model of iPod Touch this is in the subject line ... 8GB, 16GB ... 27TB ?

my friend got one in hmv the other day. its £189 but you get a £20 hmv voucher and an £29.99 essentials pack which includes docking station etc

I won't be the 27TB. Everyone knows that's only being released in white and the Chinese messed the paint up.

yeah id like to know too, what size is it?
also what is the major advantage over the 3rd gen model? i have a 64gb one and its almost full so id need at least 64gb on 4th gen, but if its too much well im sure the 3rd gen wont be forgotten about in terms of updates for many years.

£185 including a £25 itunes voucher...I think it's blatantly obvious it would be the 8GB version.

While I agree, there are still cheaper ways of getting the package by getting the best available ipod deal and timing your itune voucher purchase to take advantage of the frequent deals which exist.

Best Buy deal (15% topcash or Quidco) is a much better deal. I bought the 32GB for £233 which worked out at £198 after the 15%. They also have the 62GB for £303 which ends up as £262 after the cashback. I went throgh Topcash and it has already tracked (next day).(_;)

Having read this thread, I've just ordered an iPod Touch 8Gb with a JBL Onstage speaker for £229. After Quidco, it should be down to £195. Thanks to everyone that contributed!

I still have never worked out why they haven't produced a 16gb IPT 4G - 8GB is simply too small a capacity surely - probably only about 6 gigs useable space after OS and other stuuf - the 32 and 64 gig versions are pretty expensive and16gb would sit right in the middle and be ideal.

Are you sure the 15% will apply? Quidco site says "Cashback is not paid on Best Buy Entertainment purchases". It also says "Cashback may only be paid on the basket value excluding VAT & delivery".

The entertainment site is basically the games/audio/dvd site. The ipod is on the main bestbuy site. So, should be included...

My Topcash transaction tracked at £35.45 on the 32GB from Bestbuy.

I've just placed an order using best buy, but changed the delivery address as a different address to the billing address, as I won't be at home on delivery date, so getting it sent to my parents who will be... But, I'm just wondering whether this will cause a problem?

I know that when the Black Ops game was on offer, quite a lot of people ordered it, but needed it delivered to a different address. However, they needed to call them to get it all confirmed. So, I'm guessing that might be the same for me, I will need to call them to confirm the delivery to a different address... But, my question is, will this affect the quidco transaction? Will I still get the 15% cashback? Or will they say that because the payment did not get processed until today, I won't be eligable? I've had the order confirmation come through, so would imagine I should qualify, but just wondering on others comments? As a £35 cashback is quite a lot to loose...

Cheers

Update: £34.35 shown 'tracking' on Quidco, which means 15% on the whole purchase amount including VAT.

well not to me, i mean its all such a ripoff price anyway, i think they should be a lot cheaper in general. 8gb is nothing if you like apps.

i got my 64gb one from a catalogue so it was like 300 odd plus interest, not that im going to be able to pay it back.
