Went into my local poundland and saw these awesome cases for a quid. They had two different designs.
A pound is the best price out there for a faux leather case. These are £20 on amazon.com

LInk to the case +rreviews

For the ipod touch case
Flip open case provides a custom fit for all ipod touches (fits 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations)
Plastic screen protector and soft suede-like interior keeps your iPod scratch free
Quick & easy access to all ports and controls

'This is a really good case. I've got the Ipod touch 2nd gen, you can't really tell what's inside when its closed which is good for security. It can slip down a bit but because the ipod slides in from the side there is no risk of losing it through the bottom'

Good spot, good deal

In the OP does that mean that it also fits the iPod Classic? I have the old 160GB and I could really do with a case for it.

Leicester branch had these last time I looked two or three days ago. They were for the iPod Classic and the iPod Shuffle (not sure which Shuffle). There was a choice of plain back and a patterned design. I didn't see any for the iPod Touch.

An iPod Touch will fit in the case for the Classic if you don't mind the cut-outs for the controls being in the wrong place.

People buy these without realising the suffering that can be caused. Read the title again people. Faux leather. Not normal leather from common or garden cows but the cruelly-harvested skin of the increasingly rare faux.
Be honest, when did you last see a faux in the wild? Running free, eating grass and daisies and not posing a threat to anybody. Can't remember? Nor me.
Because they're nearly all incarcerated in inhumane "faux farms" with nothing to look forward to but the day they become a cheap wallet or steering wheel cover.
So, before you buy this, think twice. Think faux.

...when did you last see a faux in the wild?
;-)
Funny how if something were described as 'fake' it would be dismissed as rubbish but people accept it you replace the word with a French one.

Having said that, these cases are quite decent and this is a genuine bargain.

Bought one of these today in the Hartlepool store for the iPod Classic 80Gb.

This one has a section to slide the iPod in from the top and then a flap then wraps around the case and closes with a press stud on one side.

Bought the only black one they had left in the shop but they also had white cases with a grey design on them for both the iPod Classic and the iPod Nano too.
