Its also got a touch screen, I remember eXpansys where selling this at £100 not so long ago, so not too bad a price at £60.
#3
Delivery is cheaper if you go through Amazon.
#4
Cheers I'll try one =). Heat and rep.
#5
if only it had an SD card slot
#6
I'm tempted but 8gb could be a pain. I will sleep on it.

I have the 4gig version of this
great sound and design but not for occasional use as the battery drains when not in use. (just me being thick can be changed in the settings ,thanks for the info darv)
charged it fully once used for an hour left for about a week and it was dead.:whistling:
also only charges by USB out of the box

As far as I am concerned that is useful information and is a deal-breaker for me.

Would never get something like this, when you can buy a PSP cheaper off eBay, I did just that last week and got a near new psp boxed for £47 it plays videos and the battery is interchangable, for me this was perfect due to going on holiday by coach and needing something that would last more than a few hours.

Also you can get a 8gb Micro SDHC card with the adaptor that lets you use it on the psp for £20 or £10 for 8gb.

The PSP battery life is nothing to write home about. Also video format is limited, not a comparable product.

I have decided not to get one, my iPod Touch will suffice.

I went for it and will report back on how its stands up next to the Zen X-Fi

Check your settings. You aren't turning it off you're simply putting it on standby. If you actually turn it off you will find the battery lasts for much longer.

In the past before the ipod completely took over, irivers were awesome, better build, better sound and came with sennheiser headphones sometimes rebranded to iriver sometimes left branded sennheiser. At the time the ipod was a joke with poor headphones but people still bought them over the iriver.

Got mine today, sound is better than my Creative Zen X-Fi, far louder than any other MP3 player I have owned. Sound great on Sennheiser CX500 and my Koss Porta Pros. Thanks to the OP :)

I hummed & haah'ed but finally ordered one on Tues...it arrived today - it's a qiality quality bit of kit, but the siupplied s/w is terrible....having spent the night messing about getting album art for my collection, I can't seem to transfer files to the spinn via the Iriver Plus3 app!
#20
I'm not so keen on it either =( *Licks it*

Sorted my problem in the end ....I managed to locate a newer version of software - Plus4 on an Iriver korean website I think (though thankfully the s/w is in English).... this app can see my Spinn & I can therefore transfer mp3s complete with album art.

Doesn't seem to be on the iriver global site...not sure it ever got officially released.

Also, the firmware on the Spinn was old - there are only two revisions out there....1,5 & 2.1 ...it came with 1.5, now upgraded to 2.1

Anyway, I'm a happy bunny now.
